United KingdomAbsolutely gorgeous place to stay, obviously a lot of love and attention went into the details in the planning of this accommodation. Because we don't have a mobile phone (I know!!!!) we were lucky to catch the owner at work and so got in quite easily, for people with mobiles getting the key code would be so easy. Catherine was lovely, so helpful and her property manager equally so. Very close to most beautiful scenery and interesting places to visit, would definitely recommend staying here. Excellent local facilities in the town and a very kind, helpful manager in the local store!!

We stayed in the Aspen yurt. Very clean and super comfortable. One of the best beds we’ve slept in.
Rocking chairs on the patio were a little added bonus and perfect for stargazing at night.

We were on a 5 week cross country vacation and saw a lot of hotels along the way...this was by far one of the best. This hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms are very inviting. The owners were very accommodating. Loa is a small town and everyone was very friendly. If you like to explore the desert, there are plenty of places to go off the beaten path. If you're not comfortable with that, there's a lot of beauty close to the road too. Hanksville has lots of wonderful outdoor activities in and around the town, particularly Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley State Park. If you aren't outdoorsy or active, there might not be much to do for you. The town itself is quite small, and not everything is open in the winter. The Rim Rock Restaurant had great views for a nice dinner and Austin’s Chuckwagon Deli was absolutely perfect for breakfast, plus I saw lots of box lunches going out as well for hikers! A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability. So if you are planning to do one, book early. There was only 1 restaurant that open while we were there. We love the Petrified Forest, Escalante River hike, Lower Calf Falls, as well as the Long Slot Canyon. Some of the attractions need a 4x4. Wish we knew ahead of time. Overall, very enjoyable!
