- From US$146.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,128 reviewsIt was a wonderful hotel. 5 minutes drive to Capitol Reef National park. The personal was friendly and helpful. The place itself is amazing. We enjoyed the bonfire at the evenings, the breakfasts were good, and there are several very good restaurants around. Our kids enjoyed the horse riding at the area of the hotel, the pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommended place to stay if you travel to Capitol ReefGuest review byAnnaUkraine

Staff extremely helpful. We arrived at 7 on a Sunday night and this was only restaurant open. The man at the desk got us thru the line of 20+ people quickly because we we had a cabin. Very quiet for being close to the highway.Guest review byJeanetteCanada

Very clean and super comfortable. One of the best beds we’ve slept in. Rocking chairs on the patio were a little added bonus and perfect for stargazing at night. We highly recommend Escalante Yurts!Guest review bymichaelaUnited Kingdom

The area is beautiful, but if it rains, you can't do much since all the hikes and roads will be muddy and the roads not passible in some areas. Torrey itself is lovey, small but very nice and a good amount of hotels and restaurants.Guest review byLorieUnited States - 8.0

We enjoyed our time at Cowboy Country Inn because management was well organized and super efficient. The wifi and Direct TV were exceptional. Escalante has a Catholic church with a Sunday 5 pm Mass. Don't miss Escalante Outfitters - great pizza, exceptional coffee!Guest review byJeniferUnited States - 10.0

The hotel was situated at the right location for the places I wanted to see. To the east were the hanksville sites, to the west were the Capitol reef national Park attractions. If you wanted quietness this is itGuest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Bicknell is a small town about 10 miles outside of Capitol Reef National Park where you can find hotel rooms that are less expensive and family restaurants. Bicknell is a bed-room community for the National Parks, not really a destination of it's own.Guest review byAnnetteUnited States - 10.0

We were on a 5 week cross country vacation and saw a lot of hotels along the way...this was by far one of the best. This hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms are very inviting. The owners were very accommodating. Loa is a small town and everyone was very friendly. I would stay here again and recommend anyone looking at hotels between the Arches and Canyonland should definitely pick this one. You will not be disappointed!Guest review byMaryUnited States - 10.0

If you like to explore the desert, there are plenty of places to go off the beaten path. If you're not comfortable with that, there's a lot of beauty close to the road too. Hell's Backbone Grill was worth the splurge - delicious food and they even made us a special request cocktail that tasted better than the typical one you would get somewhere else.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0

Hanksville has lots of wonderful outdoor activities in and around the town, particularly Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley State Park. If you aren't outdoorsy or active, there might not be much to do for you. The town itself is quite small, and not everything is open in the winter. It is cute and has character, but is not exactly exciting.Guest review byKellyUnited States - 10.0
Perfect location for visiting Capitol Reef NP!
Perfect location for visiting Capitol Reef NP! The Rim Rock Restaurant had great views for a nice dinner and Austin’s Chuckwagon Deli was absolutely perfect for breakfast, plus I saw lots of box lunches going out as well for hikers! It also had a well-stocked general store!Guest review byAnnUnited States - 10.0
A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability.
A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability. So if you are planning to do one, book early. There was only 1 restaurant that open while we were there. We love the Petrified Forest, Escalante River hike, Lower Calf Falls, as well as the Long Slot Canyon. Some of the attractions need a 4x4. Wish we knew ahead of time. Overall, very enjoyable! Cute little town with lots to do.Guest review byDianaUnited States - 8.0
Breakfast was minimal.
Breakfast was minimal. Granola bar and oatmeal which you had to ask for. No soap in the shower or extra toilet paper. They are definitely operating on a budget. No place to eat out in this town. Be prepared.Guest review byClintUnited States
