- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 134 reviewsAll the staff was superlative. We especially appreciated the gracious and friendly table service of the breakfast staff. The location was perfect for walking the historic district (2 blocks to City Market, 1 bock to Gibbs Museum). Parking was available directly behind hotel just 10 feet from the back entrance - and access to the building from front and back required no stairs (!) - unusual in Charleston and a real plus for our group traveling with elderly. Charming open air courtyard and outdoor tables. The wine and cheese hour and sherry all evening were bonuses!Guest review byKATHLEENUnited States
- From US$559.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 461 reviewsThis property exceeded all my expectations. From the welcoming glass of champagne to the checkout, everything was perfect. It was my birthday trip. I mentioned it at check in, and the manager sent a bottle of champagne to my room with a nice personal note. The room was large, attractively appointed with a spacious bathroom. The food was abundant and delicious. The complimentary breakfast, wine and appetizers, and cookies were complimentary. There were containers of candies available at any time. The staff was also outstanding. I can’t say enough about this hotel.Guest review byNancyUnited States

Gets its name from the renovation of several older buildings. Wine and cheese every night in the lounge area. Rooms are spacious, well appointed with small kitchenette and complimentary sodas and sparkling water, cheese and crackers in the refrig. We've stayed here before and will stay here again. The rooms were beautiful, and the view from the hotel was spectacular. We enjoyed s'mores by the firepits as well as live music in the evening. It was great to see the kids enjoying the Easter egg hunt. Breakfast and dinner at the Fish House were great. We also enjoyed the water taxi to visit Charleston.Guest review byChantalUnited Kingdom

Charleston is a fascinating city to visit.
Charleston is a fascinating city to visit. There is so much to see and not enough time to see it all. AND the food is absolutely terrific. We did not have any meal while we in Charleston that was not supreme. We definitely want to come back.Guest review byLove - 8.0
We have family there so we visit every 3 months.
We have family there so we visit every 3 months. Lots of traffic but it flows quickly enough. Gives you time to check out shops as you are sitting in traffic. We love the "old town" section. The shops are awesome. And if you happen to go between April & September the Farmers Market is wonderful!Guest review byJimUnited States - 10.0

Isle of Palms is the excellent place. There is everything - Ocean, the giant beach with gold sand, silence, stories (gifts, swimming kit, grocery), restaurants with southern hospitality and southern dishes. And Amazing nature and cleanliness!!!Guest review byEugeniaUnited States - 4.0

We didn’t have hot water for 2days, out elevator was broken for 2 days, they gave me a room on the third floor and I have 2 infants with me, couldn’t find anyone to help us out with strollers and luggage. And on top of that they would not change us to the first floor. Definitely a place to NEVER come back EVER again.Guest review byCassioUnited States - 6.0

The stay was fine, of course new pillows and sheets should be placed on the beds. The pillows were very old as if you were at home and needed to buy new ones. The sheets were very beaded and need to be thrown away. The staff is not friendly nor hospitable at all. They definitely need to work on their customer service skills.Guest review byLaQuitaUnited States - 10.0
The island is beautiful and designed for relaxation.
The island is beautiful and designed for relaxation. We did not golf but it is big there. There are many rules on the island which my friend did not like and she thought the people were uppity. We only had bikes and you really do need a car to get groceries and in case of rain. You will get stuck there without transportation. Also since we did not have a car, I did not print the pass that was sent to us by our Airbnb host. We took a Lyft to Kiawah and had to pay a $20 entrance fee to the island. Had we taken an Uber or printed out the car pass, we could have avoided this fee. We were not told about that. Overall, I would go again and be better prepared the next time.Guest review byDebbieUnited States - 8.0
Seabrook Island itself is a gem.
Seabrook Island itself is a gem. The beaches were beautifully uncrowded, and we were constantly surrounded by incredible wildlife—deer, cranes, barn owls, dolphins, and even jumping fish! It felt like we were immersed in nature the entire time. We also loved exploring the nearby Freshfields Village, which had great food options and a charming atmosphere.Guest review byJfabulous29United States - 10.0
If you love history Charleston is a must!
If you love history Charleston is a must! We loved the historic walking tour we took. It is a beautiful city! It was extremely charming and clean. There are many wonderful restaurants and lots of great shopping on King Street and the City Market. We stayed on King Street and walked everywhere that we went with the exception of one restaurant and that’s because it was raining.Guest review byWalters - 10.0

I have always enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn and Suites. Rooms are very nice with comfortable beds. This location has a grocery store across the parking lot so if you want snacks or beverages you can walk across. The area is very nice with restaurants close by as well. Hotel staff is very nice.Guest review byYvonne
