Staff were all so helpful and friendly. We did have an issue with our key card and had to go down 3 times but they extended our checkout time which was great. Bed was super comfy, as were the pillows.

    This was our second visit to the Lago Mar, albeit 18 years ago we were there the first time. We came back for the pleasant atmosphere and vibe and we were not dissappointed. Time is standing still when in the Lago Mar, relaxing around resort and beach. Sure, time has taken it's toll on the property, but in a good way. Everything is nicely kept in what could be the 1960's. Don't expect a minimalistic, modern hotel, but a charming Florida decor. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Surely we will be back.

    I loved this place! We stayed for one night due to we had to be down south the next day. For the price you can’t beat it! We were located across the street from the beach and 15 min walk from a downtown area with restaurants, shops. Only thing is the hotel is older (if that bothers you), however, very clean and comfortable. Great for a little weekend getaway that is budget friendly. Parking was easy and very abundant and no extra charge. I would stay here again!

It had everything we needed, spotlessly clean, the area is safe and calm. Hptela deserves a 10 man. Next time I will come for more time, I would have stayed to live with you.     I didn't like the fact that Housekeeping was knocking on the door at 9:00 to clean the room check out is at 11:00 she woke us up and I had to answer the door to tell her we would be leaving around 10:30-10:45 then she proceeded to have a conversation outside our door with another Housekeeper so we were not able to go back to sleep. I was not happy about this part of my stay. Otherwise I would highly recommend staying here, front desk staff was very friendly and very nice the inside was very nice as well didn't make the breakfast but next time we will

    The location is good; very near to the beach and the downtown. The pool is very big so everyone can enjoy; plenty of green area that the dogs enjoyed their time running and playing, the fence was secured so we were not worried about our dogs getting out. The owner is very responsive and helpful and very fast in action when it comes to fixing any issue. All amenities are available for cooking, lots of towels and linen for usage; the washing machine and the dryer helped a lot during our stay. Definitely will visit again :)

    The house is spacious and clean, with enough bedrooms and other amenities that make it perfect. Plenty of plates, cookware, and utensils. The host even left us some welcome beverages in the fridge. The patio was amazing with enough seating for loads of people. My grandkids especially loved the saltwater pool. I would highly recommend a stay at this house with these amazing hosts. John called or emailed several times, and he was so kind.

    It is great the weekend I went had a great air show with Blue Angels flying in the sky. It adheres to multiple vibes even the club scene to go dancing or the family- bike rentals are available enough restaurants on the strip and one of the Best Pizza shops in Broward not like Chicago or New York pizza but still good and large in serving.

    The Hillsboro is a small, lovely property on the beach in Hillsboro Beach (not Deerfield Beach). It is south of the Deerfield Beach Pier. It is less congested and much more upscale. 2.5 miles north of Hillsboro Inlet and 1.7mi to Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier and restaurants. Walking or biking is the best option as paid parking is at a premium in both areas. Deerfield Beach is lovely and closer than Boca Raton Beach. We chose to stay in this area because we are native Floridians that moved away in the early 1990’s. Why stay anywhere other than the beach? A1A is MUCH LESS congested than all other N-S roads. And little marina restaurants are still like they used to be!

    There are a lot of things to do in the area with a variety of bars and restaurants. It's also close to Fort Lauderdale and Dearfield. Ubers and Circuit rides are quicky available to take you where you want to go. We enjoyed the Tiki bar at the Marriott Residence and the Sea Side Grill. The food at the Sea Side Grill was delicious.

    I just loved going for breakfast asking for water, there were 4 of us! You can only get 4 waters per table, or we will be charged? Strange! We had cardboard pancakes, the manager took care of that grateful for her! On a good note our waitress was great, no fantastic! Only good thing about breakfast! The manager also compt us for the next day, was good! Again Thank you! For what you pay for the hotel you shouldn't have to pay for parking, they nickel and dime you to death here! Really sad! The rest of Fort Lauderdale does the same! Not worth the stay!

    Pompano Beach is location is fabulous, just being outside Fort Lauderdale provides you with better accommodations for your dollar and a quieter, less busy location to relax and enjoy the beach. Fort Lauderdale in my opinion has the best shopping in Florida and Pompano Beach is just outside a few minutes away.
