SlovakiaWe loved our stay! The house is perfectly situated and the self check-in process was very smooth (you enter the house, take your key and indicate what you would like for breakfast). The room was amazing, rustic style and had everything you need (fake fireplace, popcorn, kitchen etc.) The bed was very comfortable! We loved our breakfast as well, I had French toast (amazing !!) and my husband had omelette with butter bread and it was all delicious. The owners are very nice and helpful, would definitely recommend by all 10! The only minor minus is a missing mechanical lock to the room which can be opened only from the inside (as the main house door doesn’t lock).

Rooms were cramp with two queen size bed. I wish we had a chair with an Ottoman to put our feet up. The wall outlets were old and too big and would not hold our plug into the outlet. Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National...
Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument, so there is beautiful scenery surrounding it and the nearby towns, including Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Grosvenor Arch. What's nice about Cannonville is that it's in a quiet little valley, so is less exposed to the coldest weather and the winds that buffet the higher, more exposed towns in the area. It's on Scenic Route 12, so any direction you travel has gorgeous scenery! A day trip up to Capitol Reef is a little over two hours' drive away, and there are breath-taking landscapes and views all along the way. Loved it!Guest review bykarenUnited States - 10.0

If you like to explore the desert, there are plenty of places to go off the beaten path. If you're not comfortable with that, there's a lot of beauty close to the road too. We spent one full day at Bryce.
We spent one full day at Bryce. We saw the most spectacular night sky with milky way visible to naked eyes. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. We did the Navajo and queens garden loop which was around 3 miles and covered most of the canyon. Views from Inspiration point and Bryce point are the best. Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people. We were traveling through here when my husband was hospitalized for 5 days. Everyone, hospital staff, hotel owner, laundry mat, pharmacy, etc...were very helpful and kind. Cannot say enough good about it. Room was clean and thematic. Biker style. So it is bar table, high chairs and high bed, that was hard to climb in for my coworker, lol. It is convenient location to both parks Zion and Bryce Canyon, maybe a little bit closer to Bryce Canyon. The stay was good, the only thing they use cleaning chemicals with strong smell that gives headache. We used our wet wipes and it helps. It was no contact check in and check out.
