Very affordable, in a great location (Bay Ridge is apparently the safest neighbourhood in the city), with plenty of food options and the subway within walking distance. DenmarkEverything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, although breakfast was the same every morning, we liked it. The hotel is 12-15min walk from subway, but it didn’t make any problems for us. It is a great choice if you want a cheaper option while exploring NYC. We stayed for a week and we weren’t dissappointed.

For me, this hotel was adequate to spend the night in order...
For me, this hotel was adequate to spend the night in order to catch a flight the next morning. I think it was overpriced for the room with it's non-functioning lamps and a sink that didn't drain well. At least it came with an airport shuttle and continental breakfast. The cleanliness was a little questionable but it was dark and difficult to see. The night reception staff were not very friendly but they were courteous and check-in was quick and easy through booking.com. The only "food" places that were open when I arrived at 8 pm and just next door were a Burger King and a Popeye's.

There wasn't much that I liked about this hotel.
There wasn't much that I liked about this hotel. The hotel service was really bad. It was 25 degrees outside and cold in the hotel on one side of the room by the window. The heater was barely heating to my satisfaction and all I had was a thin cover. I asked the attendant at the desk for a blanket, and he looked at me as if I was from another planet. He suggested that I turn the temperature to the ideal setting of 78 degrees. The heater worked for a while and then it wasn't as effective later in the morning. I would suggest better service and a blanket at least.

We stayed here one night coming home from overseas. the shuttle came when we called about 5 minutes later. we booked our early shuttle for the next morning when we checked in due to the number of people checking in and airline crew. No breakfast for us due to early departure, would stay if needed again. comfy room and efficient check in.

Stayed here for one night as flew in from FL and flight from JFK the next day. Didn’t want to risk bad weather so flew to NYC day before. Was expecting ho hum room but instead it was perfect. Very clean, quiet and comfy bed. Breakfast usual hotel fare but we weren’t expecting more. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
