Great location near Stearns Park. I was worried about getting a “pet friendly room” for the first time but there was no evidence pets had stayed in there before, it was perfectly clean. There is a great yard area with doggie clean up station that was perfect for our dog, and I didn’t find random piles of poo anywhere on the property. Furthermore, the room was fairly updated/modern. Our room had vaulted ceilings.

    Ludington was absolutely beautiful!

    Ludington was absolutely beautiful! A very clean city with everything we needed in a short distance. Parks and beaches were very convenient and VERY clean. Lots of fun little places to go for shopping and just as many paces to just enjoy nature. Definitely coming back!

    Downtown manistee is nice and clean.Enjoyed the riverwalk.The sunset cruise on the princess of manistee was amazing.The people are friendly.The food at blue fish kitchen is yummy.Also check out the lighthouses.

    The area is gorgeous.

    The area is gorgeous. Cadillac is a place where two large lakes run right thru the middle of town. It has the feeling of Northern Michigan without the super long drive that usually comes with that. Just 1.5 hours from Grand Rapids, 3 hours from Detroit and 4 hours from Chicago!

    Big Rapids is a family-friendly small town with a nice riverwalk trail, interesting and walkable downtown and college campus areas, and some very picturesque views. There were a lot of empty shops downtown but the area felt safe and looked like it was fairly active during the day. An hour or so of driving brings you to Lake Michigan or Grand Rapids, and the area features parks, hiking, mountain bike trails, and more. We visited the city to take part in an orientation at Ferris State University, but our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the area beyond just the campus tour.

    I liked the property very much. It was very clean and quiet.

    I liked the property very much. It was very clean and quiet. There was a Walmart on the other side of the property almost attached to the parking lot. right off the 31 exit in Whitehall. There is no elevator at this facility. I was put on the second floor and struggled with my bags being disabled so keep this in mind when booking. I will 100% be staying here again just on the first floor.

    There are some fun live music locations..the book nook includes a full bar and coffee shop to enjoy the live music. Also sawyers brewery had live music a full bar and coffee drinks. Great way to spend a snowy evening.

    Hart is a classic midwestern small town in an area known for natural beauty and proximity to a resort area along the shores of Lake Michigan. There are lakes, rivers and streams in the area for fishing, swimming, and all water sports. Nearby is the famous Silver Lake Dunes State Park along Lake Michigan. Hart itself is quiet with a lot of small town charm, but no night life to speak of. It does have lodging, gas, a few restaurants to choose from, and groceries are available,

    Fremont is a nice small town the home of Gerber Baby Foods.

    Fremont is a nice small town the home of Gerber Baby Foods. Many Amish in the area. The Amish have a great food store just outside of Fremont. The deli sandwiches are awesome. Fremont lake is about 5 minutes from the Harrington Inn. Great beach and playground for kids. The food stand has great softserve ice cream.
