We have been visiting Cedar City for the past 8 years while our kids were attending Southern Utah University. We love the city and surrounding areas. There is so much to do, but in a small town. Views are beyond beautiful, and all the people are so kind. We will continue to visit, and possibly retire there.Guest review byWendyUnited States - 8.0
Beautiful lodge. View is stunning.
Beautiful lodge. View is stunning. Nice rooms - but very firm beds . Good restaurant, but expensive. Bar made really good drinks. Drive is challenging to those not used to mountain driving. Drive was beautiful though! Aspens were in full fall display!! Stunning! I would consider staying again.Guest review byChristineUnited States - 10.0
What a quaint little town. It's like being in Mayberry.
What a quaint little town. It's like being in Mayberry. And the temperatures are usually about 25 degrees cooler than Vegas and St George. Also, the Parowan Gap is only 11 miles outside of town. There you can see ancient Indian petroglyphs there, as well as dinosaurs tracks that date back to the Late Cretaceous Period.Guest review byR.B.United States - 6.0
This was my second trip to Cedar City visiting family.
This was my second trip to Cedar City visiting family. It's a cute but very small town. "Downtown" area is essentially a couple blocks on "Main Street." Have had a couple of decent meals here (Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, The Pub Spirits), but also a couple of bad meals (iHop, Jimmy John's). Fair amount of ongoing construction / refurbishment, which is a potential positive omen for the city, but detracted from my immediate experience. If it weren't for local family, I'd never return.Guest review byDavid - 10.0

The Mountain lodge is high class and beautiful. I would stay there again. I ordered the delicious Shrimp Tacos for my dinner and they came with homemade fries. Very good! Thank you Brian Head for having such a wonderful place and room to spend my one night on my travels. ShellyGuest review byShellyUnited States - 10.0

Cedar City has a wonderful downtown with a lot of the old historic buildings still being used today. The town has a great variety of neat restaurants to try. Th Southern Utah University is a very old quaint university to walk around. I highly recommend the Shakespeare Festival Park and grounds. This city has beautiful sculptures and artwork all around. A wonderful free Art Museum and a very neat historic Frontier Homestead Museum. Hwy 14 is a very scenic drive up the mountains to a rustic village called Duck Creek. Beautiful scenery. There are several hiking trails around and neat campgrounds close by. It is very easy to get around this town. Just lots of hidden places and wonderful old different architecture houses to check out.Guest review byJenniUnited States - 10.0

I can't imagine how to get here during the winter being the highest base elevation at 9800 feet but in the spring, the drive was easy. A short 20 minute drive uphill from Parowan, the resort is fantastic. I chose Brian Head for its location between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. Lots of activities available in during Spring and Summer. Looks like there are more condos being built. Very close to Cedar Breaks National Monument, the top of the Grand Staircase at over 10000 feet above sea level. If you are not use to high elevation, make sure you prepare yourself a week or two before your trip by staying hydrated and doing some slight cardio workouts. :-)Guest review byJohnUnited States
