We've made several trips to Corpus for my granddaughters college graduation, family celebrations, and occasional fishing trips. We've eating and DOC'S seafood restaurant, Chops and Eggs for breakfast, El Jalisco, Pier 99, and even indulged in Thai cuisine. Of course there's the visits to Whataburger and MacDonalds' on occasions. Overnight accommodations are half the price of staying on the island, and it's less than a 10 minute drive to be on the beach! Corpus Christi is the home to the Texas State Aquarium.
Corpus Christi is the home to the Texas State Aquarium. It's a relatively small city and has several interesting points of interest so there's enough to keep one engaged for a few days. It's really easy to get around and the bridges across Corpus Christi Bay are fabulous!
