Hague is a quaint and cool little town located right on the shoreline of beautiful and incredibly clean Lake George! We loved the Hague Market and the Silver Bay General Store for picking up last minute food supplies and great sandwiches for lunch and breakfast. One night, there was music in the Hague Public Park and beach with lots of food trucks and many food choices. We returned to the Olympian for the fourth time in late July and there are several reasons why. The scenery from their dock is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and comfortable, you can walk directly across the street to a great deli/store and restaurant and it's a short distance driving to Lake George Village and Bolton's Landing. You can either take a dip in the clean, clear waters of the lake or the huge pool and there is a recreation area with games and picnic area with grills. The Lake George area is so beautiful. The landscape of the mountains and lake are breathtaking. Staying in Lake George Village is preferable since you can walk everywhere in the Village, all the shops and really good places to eat. The best thing I liked was the indoor water park and the worse thing was no cash accepted anywhere on the property. Comfortable. A traditional Lake George resort that has been modernized and upgraded. Beautiful knotty pine rooms. Huge pool. Nice lake access. Friendly staff.
