If you enjoy theater take in a play at Ogunquit Playhouse.
If you enjoy theater take in a play at Ogunquit Playhouse. Never disappoints. If live music pleases you go to The Front Porch piano bar. Always a fun night. And when you are just browsing be sure to visit The Abacus. The most wonderful items and gifts. A little bit of everything.Guest review bySharonUnited States - 2.0
The terrible experience started at the front desk as there...
The terrible experience started at the front desk as there was one gentleman working at the counter and 5 individual parties inline. The one employee was inefficient and did little to speed up the process as he gossiped about nothing to the persons standing at the counter. Two of the parties in line walked out. I had no choice but to wait as I pre-paid for the room. If the rest of the stay was acceptable, then the check-in process would most likely have been forgotten. I was in room 216, which is one floor above the parking area and first floor rooms and there was a 3rd floor too. The property had an internal staircase from the parking lot to the upper floors. The second-floor stairs ran along an outside wall of my room 216 and the stairs to the third floor ran along another wall of my room. There was continuous activity up and down the stairs up to 2am. The walls of the room were not insulated enough to deaden the loud noise from the stairwells or the slamming of the doors entering/leaving the staircase. It was a horrible experience, and it was so loud you would think that the stairs were in your room. It was about 6am and the activity up and down the staircase started again. In the end, there were only a few brief hours of silence with little to no sleep. There are several rooms at this property that run along both stairwells to the upper floors that must have the same issues as room 216. I will never go back to this property ever again. Lastly, I have stayed 1,000+ nights in hotels all over the world and this is certainly one of the poorest experiences I have ever had.Guest review byJAMES - 10.0

I had heard so much about The Rachel Carson Reserve and it was well worth the walk, with plenty of benches to rest on. That same day we also visited Kennebunkport to enjoy gift shops and eat dinner at The Boathouse, with delicious Asian Fusion food. When we returned, we had to "walk off" our meal on Wells Beach before retiring!Guest review byGloriaUnited States - 10.0
The town is compact with tons of food and shopping.
The town is compact with tons of food and shopping. Easily walkable but there are quiet roads surrounding so you can bike to the beach in under 10 minutes. The crowds (even in high color season) were a mix of young and old. There are tourist buses with the older folks but they park in a lot so it wasn't too bad.Guest review bySKozelUnited States - 10.0

Always clean and family friendly.
Always clean and family friendly. Lots of traffic during the day, but most drivers and pedestrians are very courteous. Have never met anyone rude in town, visitors, workers, etc... And you MUST meet Zeus at the bowling alley next to Fun-O-Rama! Which by the way....is only 25-50 cents for most games!!Guest review byWirkkala FamilyUnited States - 8.0

If you are wanting to spend all your time in Portland, I'd rethink this. There isn't much in the way of eating (except at the hotel), so you have to plan accordingly. however, if you want a view and not stay in the city, then it is a great pick. It's about 20 minutes by car to Old Port.Guest review byKristy BoneyUnited States - 4.0
shower was unacceptable
shower was unacceptable window had no lock and entire window needed replacement , large hole in screen unsecure entry door - no second bolt - there used to be one but it had been covered with a metal plate- undersized ac unit in window provided no relief from stuffiness of small uninsulated old remodeled beach cabin. windows could not be left open in the evening ... very unsecure accomodation suffered eye irritation on the way home due to animals housed in room previously. although room was clean , dander must have been everywhere. other nearby rooms , 3 dogs in the room next to us, and 2 dogs in the next room.... dogs barking at all guests and passersby ...mattresses had rubberized covers and the sheets slid all over . mattress was on a platform and sunk down to the board.... I am not an oversized person , the mattresses were unsatisfactory and sufficient only for animals.Guest review byfrancisUnited States - 10.0
It was 2 lights up from 95 on your right, take a left.
It was 2 lights up from 95 on your right, take a left. Easy to get to. Pool was cold. Room was clean and the breakfast, except for the bacon, was awesome! Pool was cold and the room a little cold from the air coming in the bottom of the door. We would come again.Guest review byDouglas
