Any time of the year there is a plethera of things to experience for solo - family travelers in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St Paul). Literally you can find Any type of cuisine within minutes of your location. The diversity is what I always enjoy the most. People are friendly, the green spaces and Mississippi River stunning, the scooter and bike rentals easy and the arts culture thrives here. We wanted a clean and comfortable hotel for our road trip overnight stay. This hotel was very nice and convenient. It’s close to the highway and has secure parking. Most of the hotel guests seem to be either associated with the hospital and staff or patients and their families. The surrounding area seemed very safe, with lots of restaurant options. My sister and I like the Treasure Chest Thrift store and Modern Barnyard. We like that there are lots of good restaurants to choose from. We ate at Granite City and the food was very good.
