It was beautiful, had a lot of great restaurants. People were friendly. Weather was decent for the most part. Dog friendly community. Ate all you can eat crab legs , Ate at Shagg6, and Meleroys. I have never in my life been pulled over for going 4 miles under the speed limit and then told not to come back and try Florida instead. We travel to Pensacola/Navarre Beach Florida from Kansas every year and always stay overnight in Olive Branch. It's a nice little half way stop for us to stay. The Historical places and museums were outstanding! 10 out of 10. The food scene isn't much if you're a foodie BUT Key City Brewery made it okay. It was so outstanding that we ate there every night of our trip. The river view is nice. We stayed by the river and I would definitely recommend. Our view was stunning. Absolutely oozing with historic charm! Such a treat to be right on the peaceful Mississippi River. If you like grand & gorgeous Antebellum mansions, Natchez will not disappoint. I arrived after a 6-hour drive, ready to check in and rest. When we got there close to midnight, the lobby was chaotic—young kids were running around unsupervised. We were given our room key, but when we got to the room, it clearly hadn’t been cleaned. One bed had no linens, the other had balled-up sheets, and there was trash on the tables and counters. We returned to the front desk, only to be told that at nearly midnight, the only available room was a queen bed—not enough to accommodate my family. I was traveling with my 20-year-old son, his girlfriend, and my teenager. A queen studio simply wasn’t an option. After the front desk agent contacted a manager, we were eventually given two separate rooms—on different ends of the hallway. Thankfully my son was old enough to stay in the other room, but it was still an unacceptable situation to deal with that late at night. The next morning, I noticed multiple charges on my account and called the manager. She refunded me $50, but to be honest, the entire experience was a disaster.Guest review byAnonymous
