We brought our new EV and charged it easily and safely right in front of the building. Only 2 j1172, but no lines we knew of during our 3nt stay. The staff were very helpful, approachable and friendly! We brought our 8mo pup and she got a goodie bag. Very thoughtful. We love staying at different hotels, but after staying in Oxford in Silverdale and now in Bellingham, we don't wish to go elsewhere if possible. Great amenities for terrific prices! Bellingham has a really nice safe vibe.
Bellingham has a really nice safe vibe. Family friendly, no skyscrapers, easy to get around. Lots of great restaurants, coffee houses etc.We much preferred it to the big city vibe in Seattle. I like to bike and I found a great bike shop to rent a nice bike. The Interurban trail and South Bay Trail are amazing. Fairhaven has good shops and restaurants, and a nice little library. Lynden is an old fashion community surrounded by dairy farmland not far from the Canadian border with great views of the Cascades. The whole town is very clean and neat with the historic downtown area a pleasure to see & visit. There are some excellent eateries scattered about. We are an older couple so we enjoyed the feeling of a small community that has adapted very well to accommodate population growth. We were quite pleased with Whatcom Transit bus service that took us wherever we wanted for only $1 per ride. We enjoyed just riding around then walking the trails and downtown with a delightful meal at the old Horseshoe Cafe.Guest review byRaiskums
