This one had its heyday, then the hotel boom in the area probably took it out. The property has a lot of potential and I it looks like the current owners are trying to bring it back to life. Maybe they will, maybe not. It looks like the low prices have attracted a few long term people. The hotel doesn't appear to have enough revenue to keep the resort style pool open and vibrant. It might be a really nice small convention or wedding/party venue if you had enough people to take it over. For business travel, it is cheap, central, quiet, and I had the entire executive atrium to myself, so that would be an interesting place to have a meeting if your guests appreciated such a location.Guest review byMaysUnited States

But there was nothing to be afraid about. This hotel has exceeded all expectations. Check-in was smooth and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. We loved the "Old West" vibe in the hotel. Due to the proximity of Big Bend National Park and State Park, the hotel was incredibly silent at night and offered excellent night skies, which resulted in excellent sleep. I like that Paso my room was disgusting the door was horrible it wouldn't lock right if you look at the door needs to be replaced and obviously they haven't did that the floor base in the bathroom if you step on that water will pop up obviously they have a leak in the pipe so I kind of figured they don't expect the rooms. I didn't want to smoking room she said that was all they had. Our trip was great, we were told about the second largest canyon in the USA. My birthday was coming up we decided to visit Amarillo. Our trip was a success we met a lot of really nice people. We visited,The Palo Duro Canyon, Cadillac Ranch, and shopped. The My Place hotel made this trip a top spot and a great experience😄😄. Everyone is so helpful Betty that service the rooms was so helpful and polite always checking if we had enough towels basically everything. Also it’s right by the consulate, walking distance. Cute little town but definitely a day trip or 1 overnight trip. The activities don't take long and are close to each other. Zoo is worth the price. They have very quaint statues parks that are free to walk through. Food was great, go to the cotton patch Cafe. TX drivers are crazy! Fort Stockton has a few tourist attractions, including the old Fort Stockton. However, for our visit, it was a good jumping off point to go to Alpine, Texas and the Big Bend National Park.
