- From US$143.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 1,080 reviewsWe were in transit from Washington to Victoria BC on the ferry and picked this hotel and were very happy we did. Very nice, spacious room with balcony where we could sit and enjoy a Walla Walla Rose with a spectacular view of the waterfront area. Close to great restaurants and the ferry early next morning. Very helpful reception staff. Free parking. First class and very reasonable price.Guest review byDavidAustralia

The amenities and facilities were thoughtfully designed with a traveler's needs in mind—from the kitchen to the beautiful view from the balcony, everything was perfect. You MUST stay at the Olympic Lodge by Ayers!
You MUST stay at the Olympic Lodge by Ayers! Beautiful, cozy environment, very nice continental breakfast, lovely fireplace and lots of seating, and we loved the hot tub! The staff was fantastic. We're not so out of shape that we can't get around just fine, but we're also not hiking enthusiasts. So if you're looking for stunning scenery/views with little-to-no hiking experience, the drive through Lake Crescent was other-worldly beautiful with frequent opportunities to stop and take pics/use the restroom, and the trail to the waterfall in Sol Duc Falls was straight out of a fairy tale. It was about 1.5 miles(ish) and totally worth it. If I can do it, you can do it!Guest review byMary BethUnited States - 10.0
Beautiful town, lovely people.
Beautiful town, lovely people. I enjoyed walking around and meeting people.I visited the Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm, and the Dugeness Spit Unfortunately, I had car trouble so couldn't get around as much as I wanted to, but was impressed how people were willing to help me. I was referred to Auto Depot on River Road and they fit me in immediately, so I could keep to my travel schedule. They were exceptionally nice. The whole experience of my visit to Sequim was spectacular.Guest review byErinUnited States - 8.0
We haven’t seen Forks as we came in at night
We haven’t seen Forks as we came in at night The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and in a good location to see the area. We were going to drive through and stay at the coast but would stay here again and day trip to coast if the property was availableGuest review byTeresaUnited States - 2.0
We had not been to Port Townsend in several years.
We had not been to Port Townsend in several years. When we returned it had changed dramatically. The town has lost its sense of quaintness, replaced by merrciless gouging across the board. Some hotel rooms on the weekend are now $400.00 a night and the Buffet offers Biscuts and gravy for...........$22.00. Parking has doubled to $20.00 a night. Outrageous. Many downtown store fronts are deserted and stores that remain offer cheeper trinkets to tourists. I'm sure I will not spend $18.00 for a cutsie bar of soap. Overall we felt abused. Not the once lovely charming location it was and has lost its luster.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 2.0
This property did not live up to expectations.
This property did not live up to expectations. There was a wedding taking place when we checked in and we were not forewarned that the parking, lawn/outdoor access and bar access would be limited or closed off. The noise coming from the party disrupted the peaceful nights sleep we were hoping for and the lack of WIFI service meant that guests were resigned to sitting in the lobby with no food, drink or means of entertainment (except looking out the window at the wedding guests having an enjoyable evening). Rooms are small and outdated and not in working order (shower door did not open/close). The atmosphere was underwhelming the service terrible and to this day, the complaints have not been addressed. For $500/nite - I would definitely look else where for accommodation in this area. It's a beautiful part of the country, unfortunately ruined by a one nite stay at this lodge & poor communication by the management of this property.Guest review byCarmelUnited States - 2.0
This place was disgusting and we could not stay there.
This place was disgusting and we could not stay there. The place said they canceled our stay and said they would say we called and said we had a death in the family so we could get refunded. After I left a bad review on the site, they told Booking.com the room was fine and there should be no refund. The room was dirty and smelled. No one should stay at this place until it is fully cleaned or remodeled. I don't know why Booking.com would have places like this on the site.Guest review byLang - 8.0

We loved the Oceancrest hotel and the dinners there, our walk on the beach, and recommend to also check out small artist galleries and coastal towns in the surroundings. An absolute gem is the nearby Lake Quinault and its stunning rain forest: check out the Rain Forest Nature Trail with its interesting information boards about the "eco-web" of this rainforest.Guest review byTatjanaUnited States - 10.0
Copalis Beach was beautiful!
Copalis Beach was beautiful! It was nice and clean and there were very few people on it. We pretty much had it to ourselves. The waves were great and my grand daughters loved playing in them. The water was a little chilly but not bad and the girls didn't seem to mind at all. If mother nature would have cooperated and let the sun come out, it would have been perfect!Guest review byPatriciaUnited States - 10.0

If you are a birdwatcher in the Northwest, you must go there at elast once. We saw Harlequin Ducks very near to the shore, over fifty Oystercatchers out at Cape Flattery, a dozen Long Tailed Ducks. Definitely worth the drive. Do be careful on the road between Clallam Bay and Neah Bay; it's a doozy.Guest review byRichard XVIIIUnited States - 8.0

If I had come earlier in the fall when the weather was better two nights at the hotel with time to explore Hurricane Ridge would have been my preference. The town is ok, it lacks the charm of places like Port Townsend or Poulsbo but most people come for the Olympic Forest or the ferry to Victoria BC.Guest review byJamalUnited States
