- From $176.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 369 reviewsWe stayed in the old part. We loved sitting out on the chairs. It was so peaceful. We walked around the property at night . They have a miniature golf course and ice cream place that is on their property. As well as a pond, playground and petting farm. They had 3 pools and a hot tub. One was outside and it was a walk- in pool. We also liked how it was so close to all of our activities. The breakfast was delicious. They are closed for Monday nights for dinner.Guest review byMelissaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 135 reviewsThis place was gorgeous! Think grand style old world hotel set on a hill near a lake in the mountains. Then, add a dash of holiday magic with trees and decorations around every corner (A life-size gingerbread house made of REAL gingerbread? Yes!) and you have Skytop! Beautiful setting, excellent dining, and super friendly staff made our stay just perfect.Guest review bykarenUnited States

Lots of history to see and explore.
Lots of history to see and explore. The old part of the city is of more interest (too us). There is also a good art museum and a visit to the old penitentiary is also worthwhile. Finding good food options at reasonable prices was a bit challenging but ok if you just want fast food. Reading Terminal Market has a few good options to choose from but can get very busy. The city feels generally safe to walk around and is very culturally diverse and tolerant. But like in all big cities, you have to be careful where you go and be on your guard. The waterfront is also worth a visit if the weather is nice.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
This time we only stayed in Pittsburgh for a short overnight...
This time we only stayed in Pittsburgh for a short overnight visit, but enjoyed briefly seeing the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University and eating at the Union Grill near CMU. In the past, we visited several attractions including the Pittsburgh Zoo, the Duquesne Incline, the Carnegie Science Center (now called the Kamin Science Center) and the National Aviary. We had a great time and ever since then I have wanted to go back!Guest review byDavis - 10.0
Civil War museum was really moving and tugged at the heart...
Civil War museum was really moving and tugged at the heart strings. Visited the Doll museum and met the friendly owner, Miss Sue. A great experience. A very nice city to visit with Hershey Park not far away, the Susquahana River right there. The Weivers Lebanon bologne near Lancaster is to die for! 3 B Ice cream cones ....YUM!! Taj and Isaac at the Ruby Tuesday next door to our Hilton Harrisburg-East Hershey Hotel knew how to treat customers, great guys to know! A great place to visit and base your outings from. I'd do it again in a heart beat!!Guest review byApalonioUnited States - 10.0
Lots to see and do - with kids or without kids.
Lots to see and do - with kids or without kids. You can spend hours shopping the outlet malls, visiting Amish stores for delicious food items, gifts, crafts, furniture, etc. It's a very quaint area with a lot of charm and is a great place to bring your kids to expose them to another culture (Amish) and way of life. There are tons of things to do with small kids - especially visiting farms, petting and feeding the animals, taking a horse and buggy ride, etc. Within easy driving distance, there are fun museums where you can go aboard trains and other places where you can ride an old-fashioned train. In the summer months, you can enjoy miniature golf, ice cream shops, etc. On this particular trip, our family visited the Mennonite Visitor Center to learn more about the Amish/Mennonite Community and visit the Biblical Tabernacle Experience. Then we saw a show at Sight & Sound, which my kids always love - especially as Sight & Sound frequently has trained live animals making their way up and down the main aisles as part of the show. Sight & Sound always puts on a spectacular show. In terms of food, there a tons of great restaurants to visit in the area - from all-you-can-eat buffets with home-cooked comfort food to familiar chain restaurants like Cracker Barrel and Olive Garden to upscale gourmet restaurants with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Essentially, you've got just about everything you could want at your fingertips, depending on whether you are with fussy, small children or you are on a romantic getaway with your loved one or you and your friends just want to explore the area. My family always enjoys visiting this part of the United States, and we are sure you will too.Guest review byRachelUnited States - 4.0
Nice town but very conservative with some Trump like bigotry...
Nice town but very conservative with some Trump like bigotry. Nightlife was very little and not much of an atmosphere. We went to visit Dorney Park which was the highlight of the stay and we really enjoyed it. The water park and water rides close on August 31st as a daily thing. The park then opens only at weekends for the Halloween Haunt which was amazing and well recommended. Real graveyard sets with actors playing Zombies with Halloween attractions that are full of scares. Universal Studios 'Halloween Horror Night' were not as good as this and clearly taken the whole idea from 'Six Flags' Who are the company that owns Dorney Park We also recommend the Lost River Caves. Other than that there is nothing of real interest there. The town is pretty much 1970s in its design and attitude. Next time we go to Dorney Park we shall stay in Philadelphia as it is one hour drive each way. Do not stay in Allentown if you identify yourself or any member of your group as LGBT+ as you will not feel welcome.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
We traveled to the Finger Lakes from Indiana.
We traveled to the Finger Lakes from Indiana. We made overnight stops in Eire on both legs of the trip. We had meals and fueled both times. Fuel was reasonably priced. Erie is a great stop over on I-90.Guest review byhsche426United States - 10.0
The Gettysburg National Park is a must see for everyone!
The Gettysburg National Park is a must see for everyone! There is so much history in this little town. Go to the Visitor Center for sure. They have a museum and bus tours available. There are also horse back riding tours available. There are many options to purchase audio for a self guided auto tours available on line too. Highly recommend visiting Sachs Bridge, Little Round Top and the Eisenhower farm. When you're not on the battle field, there are numerous places to eat and places to shop. Also, bring a nice camera for some amazing photos.Guest review bySara SLUnited States - 10.0

Hershey is a great place to visit.
Hershey is a great place to visit. So many attractions close by...the Hershey Museum, Hershey Chocolate World, Hershey Park, the Butterfly Gardens and Botanical Gardens and more. Plus there are great places to see that are only a short drive away...Gettysburg, Lancaster, Sight and Sound Theater just to name a few.Guest review byKarenUnited States - 2.0
It's a horrible place to go to for a stay.
It's a horrible place to go to for a stay. Most of the rooms are people who live there and there is constant drug use and abuse, and a lot of sketchy individuals and fighting and arguing at all hours of the day of night. My wife and I did not feel safe here for our one-night stay over during a wedding nearby. Stay away at all costs. I'm embarrassed for booking.com that they would even have this establishment listed as a property that they would book for.. I have requested my money back from booking.com for our stay at this horrible propertyGuest review byMike
