The hostel vibe, common kitchen and on-site creates a friendly chatty atmosphere. The various activities, like live music, bingo and Salsa dance lessons add to the fun. The hot tub was so cool!! This was the best accomodation we had on our ski holiday. Thank you to the Pad Managment and staff from the Ski and Salsa Crazy Kiwis.

Nice new hotel. The room was spacious, clean, warm. Bed was comfortable and large. There was a jacuzzi and an outdoor pool which was cool - perfect for relaxing after skiing. Also the hotel is in a good location if you are going skiing - it's a few mins away from Beaver Creek, and 10 mins away from Vail.

The Residence Inn was a great choice for us in Vail. The hotel has all the amenities you need for your ski trip. Their shuttle service to Vail Village is very convenient and runs every 15 minutes until 10pm. Parking is great! Without knowing too much about other hotels in Vail, I think it is an excellent option in terms of price/benefit without ever feeling like a low-cost hotel (which it is not). 100% recommended.

We visited in mid-October to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and had a great time! The fall foliage was beautiful, we had a lovely stroll around Vail Village (tons of cute shops, coffee shops, restaurants, and a creekside trail), and went to the spa at Gravity Haus. Dinner at Russel's Restaurant was also a highlight.

A beautiful area for gambling, spending time with friends, and close to Central City for sightseeing, with a very walkable location. If you go early in the week, such as Monday and Tuesday, you might find many restaurants closed on those days. It was enjoyable to explore the various casinos and take in the different restaurants, coffee shops, and all-night options. There aren't many convenience store options, so bring essentials with you from the start (bottled water, in-room snacks, etc.).

We stayed in Georgetown because of it's direct access to Guanella Pass and the great hiking trails available there. We are too old for camping so we stayed in a motel. Once away from I-70 the town is cute and walkable, with the sound of mountain streams. There are a couple of ok restaurants. This is obviously an inexpensive place to stay if skiing the big resorts along the I-70 corridor and the town has facilities to accommodate skiers.

Winter Park is close to Denver compared to other large ski resorts, but the mountain itself is smaller and there are not that many bases or bowls to distribute the crowd, so you can easily get trapping in lines. But the snow condition is great, and the view is nice.

The best thing about Avon is walkable area. Restaurants are not impressive. The Vin48 was terrible. The food was poor quality and way overpriced. The worst Chicken Marsala I’ve ever had. We went there for Beau Joes pizza and to walk around to see the sites. Had to pay $5 for 2 hours of parking and refused to stay at H and H motel as it was awful looking and small for the money. The food was not good and we should have skipped this town. I was there 30 years ago and it was a much better place to spend the day.

Dillon is a great location that is right in the Colorado Rockies. There are significant opportunities for hiking, biking and boating. The only down side is the traffic between Denver and Dillon on weekends. Driving back to Denver from Dillon is horrendous on a Sunday afternoon. So I strongly recommend visiting on a week day (which is what I did).
