This is a very walkable, incredibly gorgeous city. There is something for everyone - museums for the history buff, attractions that will appeal to kids, all kinds of restaurants (the Columbia is a MUST DO), and bars, and every kind of shop you can imagine. It felt very safe - LOTS of people out, streets mostly well lit. VERY convenient to water attractions (boat tours), and of course, THE BEACHES.
