I should’ve just spent 50 more to go to a better motel if I knew they were gonna rob me of 150, charged my card extra.STAY AWAY! it was dirty and unsafe, the employee Orlando and the young boys at night are rude and shady watch out!!!! Not a family friendly spot! And the roads leading up to the motel is killer on tires FYI. THEY NEED TO PUT MICROWAVES IN THE ROOMS. ALSO WHEN I CHECKED IN ON THE MAY 10,2023 THEY FAILED TO TELL ME THAT YOU CAN ONLY STAY 14 DAYS. BUT I RESERVED THE ROOM AGAIN FOR 3 DAYS AND THAT'S WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE LENGTHS OF TIME YOU COULD STAT THERE. BY THAT TIME I HAD BEEN THERE16 DAYS. SO I WAS PAYING FOR THE 3 DAYS RESERVATION WITH MY BANK CARD IT CAME BACK DECLINED,SO I WAS ALLOWED TO PAY FOR ONE MORE DAY WITH CASH AND TOLD I HAD TO CHECK OUT THE NEXT MORNING. HERITAGE HAS MY MONEY PENDING AND I WAS TOLD I HAVE TO WAIT 31 DAYS+1 BEFORE I GET IT BACK. THE MERCHANT SENT PAPERWORK SAYING PAYMENT FAILED AND THEY WEREN'T TAKING IT. It was like a prison, no outlets, no access to office, our phone didn’t work so you couldn’t call the office we are suppose to be in accessible unit but no outlets on any walls couldn’t plug in to charge wheelchair or phones. While I definitely have a soft spot for San Diego and visit fairly often, it has gotten more run down in the last 10 years. Mission Beach and Pacific Beach have gotten pretty trashy. The area is mostly for young people looking to get drunk, loud and obnoxious. I prefer the Gaslamp and Seaport Village area but those areas do have issues with homeless people hanging around the area. I think the best area in San Diego is the Torrey Pines area and Coronado Island, both of which I highly recommend staying at if you go to San Diego.Guest review byGrantUnited States - 10.0
