- From US$179.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 110 reviewsEverything was great, from the easy check in through to the easy check out! The room was perfect for my husband and I. The king sized bed was super comfy. The bathroom was well stocked and the towels were thick and fluffy. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle, as well as coffee, teas, and hot chocolate. The inn is located super close to some restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. We chatted with the gentleman who owns the inn and he was super nice! I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever visiting Lopez Island in the future!Guest review byJaneUnited States

Friday Harbor is an adorable waterfront town.
Friday Harbor is an adorable waterfront town. There are many things to do there including whale watching, kayak rentals, bike rentals, farmers market on the weekend and many cute shops and restaurants. The whale museum is a fun place to stop, and Kings has great sandwiches for a picnic at the waterfront. There are nice picnic tables near the marina and also an ice cream shop near the ferry dock.Guest review byKathyUnited States - 10.0
Orcas Island is less populated and less busy than San Juan...
Orcas Island is less populated and less busy than San Juan Island and it has 2 great mountain hiking areas. Eastsound is the main village and has a gas station, supermarket, coffee shops and excellent bakery. You can walk alla round Eastsound, but definitely need a car to see the island.Guest review byjoelUnited States - 10.0

Orcas has a unique and special energy compared to San Juan Island (we only went to Orcas and San Juan Islands on this trip). It was peaceful, beautiful, zen, quaint, etc...everyone we met was friendly and accommodating. We wish we would have stayed longer! Eastsound was where we hung out the most for going out to eat/shopping...lot's of cute little towns and viewpoints, Obstruction Pass was a favorite as well as Olga with a cute little shop that had espresso and soft serve.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 10.0
Lopez is incredible and we do the Tour de Lopez every year.
Lopez is incredible and we do the Tour de Lopez every year. If you have not been to Lopez, it is a must with an adorable downtown area with cute shops, coffee, and a brewery. The views are incredible and locals are extremely kind. Make sure to treat yourself to dinner at Ursa Minor - you will not regret it!Guest review byAllisonUnited States - 10.0

We spent our town time in Eastsound, which is the only "town" on the island. Great restaurants and fun shops. Good hiking in the area. Mt. Constitution has a fantastic view and I would highly recommend hiking in the Turtleback Preserve. That area is more open, with better views and more diversity of habitat than the old growth forests at Moran State Park.Guest review byNeilUnited States - 6.0
The cleanliness of the home was disgusting.
The cleanliness of the home was disgusting. Has not been cleaned for a long time.... including the bathroom. The toliet in the master bedroom needs a new internal mechanism as it would not shut off. There was outdoor furniture but it was so disgusting and dirty it was not usable. The furniture inside was old, very worn and dirty. God, I prayed out sheets were clean! But....the location of the house was perfect! Close to the ocean and very quiet. The size of the home was perfect. Would have been a perfect place but was so incredibly dirty!Guest review bySusan - 10.0

It is beautiful, with a few restaurants and coffee shops that allow you to watch people while sitting in the shade. There is a farmer's market and art shops, as well as outdoor activities, like bicycle tours, boat trips, kayaking, if you want.Guest review byDominiqueUnited States - 10.0
Eastsound was wonderful!
Eastsound was wonderful! Would definatley recommend the Lone Pine Larder! One of the most delicious bites from the whole weekend. Didn't get a chance to visit Houlme but their pizza looked divine. Brown bear baking was the elite coffee and pastry choice, and I'd recommend getting ice cream from clever cow creamery and wine from Doe Bay Wine. The Orcas Island Historical Museum was fun as well! There's some great places outside of town as well but those were my most favorite spots in Eastsound.Guest review byJessicaUnited States - 10.0
There is so much to do on Orcas island.
There is so much to do on Orcas island. The shops in the main down-town hub and all the restaurants are great. The beaches and parks including Moran State Park and the look-out on Mount Constitution are a must-see! We booked a home near the ferry dock. If I had more time, I would have walked on a ferry to explore another island such as Friday Harbor on San Juan island. It was easy to "decompress" from city life when on the island. The vibe of small town friendliness was definitely there! We traveled during non-peak season so perhaps that helped us feel relaxed and enjoy our time.Guest review byB - 10.0

Lopez is amazing, quiet, and if you can, stay here and bike on the ferries to island hop but always return to Lopez. The other towns (Friday Harbor especially) feel like Coney Island compared to Lopez. Even during the summer, a lot of places are closed Mon-Weds and if you're dining here, make reservations in advance - especially at Setsuna.Guest review byPaulUnited States
