Boise is a beautiful city.
Boise is a beautiful city. The city is walker friendly with lots to see and do. Plenty of restaurants for diverse taste. We were only in Boise for one day. We were on our way back from Seattle to South Texas. We lived in Boise back in 1973 for a couple of years. It has grown so much since then. We noticed all of the beautiful well landscaped parks, River walks, tubing, great outdoor activity areas. The traffic flow was a bit congested as there was construction on roads and buildings. It is a great city to visit.Guest review byPerryUnited States - 8.0
The waterfalls were stunning!
The waterfalls were stunning! Our only issue was that the girl at the front desk offered very little information, whilst the man checking in the people next to us gave them a whole lot of places to see, and especially a dinner spot. Luckily we were listening to him and ended up having an amazing meal, but the girl wasn't very helpful.Guest review byNatalieAustralia - 6.0

Coffee and tea were the only things available in the morning. It was in a poor neighborhood with a homeless man in a wheelchair just across the street An interesting group of people who were staying there that night.Guest review byDebraUnited States - 10.0

Meridian is a nice community with lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Only 30 minutes from the Boise airport, also close to Eagle which is a really nice little city to shop in. We had a nice lunch at the Tavern at Eagle Island in Meridian.Guest review byDebraUnited States - 6.0
Tried to find a brew pub ...no luck.
Tried to find a brew pub ...no luck. Ate at Messenger Pizza but even on a Main Street in town they had no outdoor signage ... none. Had to ask. Food was decent but it sure isn't a place to expect service as it definitely has a do-it-yourself vibe. I'd asked our motel desk clerk if there was a brew pub in town she said, "I don't know I'm only 18!" Even a search using Yelp didn't return the best reviews. I'm just not sure Nampa is set cup for travelers as we were just passing through.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 8.0

We were just passing through Mountain Home on the way to Oregon. I've been to this town before, and I like it. It's small but has some cool places to eat and have beer. The people are very nice.Guest review byLeeUnited States - 10.0
Beautiful place to stay.
Beautiful place to stay. Everyone was extremely friendly and it was immaculate everywhere. I loved Caldwell and can’t wait to visit again. Next time I will stay somewhere with a restaurant and bar and hire a car to get around.Guest review byWilliams - 8.0
Room was clean and comfortable.
Room was clean and comfortable. Inn overview said balcony-did they mean the common outside seating area? We ate at the Snake River Grill. The food was great, the server kept disappearing so we asked other servers to help us.Guest review bySusanUnited States - 8.0

There is so much construction going on in the center of Eagle and roads were closed off. We managed by following detours and we have general knowledge of the roads in Eagle. Traffic is always an issue in Eagle. The infrastructure is way behind for he amount of people who live and travel through town. We ate at our favorite spots - Bardenay and Coyne's. Both have consistent menus and food is always as expected. It's sad to see the town change so much, tho. It was a sleepy small town feeling when we lived here but since coming back for visits, it's obvious that Eagle is trying to compete with Meridian by changing the landscape with newer businesses/structures and tearing down the charming buildings I remember being what gave this town personality. Not sure how many more people they can cram into the 83616.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0
It was a great center for activities.
It was a great center for activities. We sled down the Sand Dunes at Bruneau State Park, visited Banbury Hot Springs, visited Shoshone Falls, The Twin Falls Town Square Park, visited the 3 Island Crossing Historic & Interpretive Center for the Oregon Trail, saw O. Trail ruts, ate at the Crossing Restaurant in Glen's Ferry and breakfast at the Country Cooking & Crafts restaurant. The Hagerman Fossil beds were closed so we didn't get to see those. Traveling on old Route 30 was a relaxing way to see Southern Idaho....Guest review byJanUnited States
