So much to see and do, love the history of our country and this town definitely is part of it. From the gold rush stories, to the gunfights, etc. Stop at Saloon #10 for reenactment of Wild Bills death, you'll learn alot. Do not recommend! The room i received was over run with flies, mosquitoes, gnats and spiders. The walls looked like they had not been cleaned in months and the bed linens were filthy! Hill City is a great western town in the Black Hills, with many amenities. However, I do regret that the main street reenactment of a shoot out has been canceled. It was great entertainment. The HC Haven has many amenities, and was very comfortable for three couples. We utilized the dining table primarily and also enjoyed the hot tub. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace, which would have been nice and cozy.
