- From US$227.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 386 reviewsAbsolutely fantastic place to visit and stay. As a lone female traveller, I felt extremely safe on my own and felt like the staff really cared for my needs. I had a slight problem with my credit card as I did not know about the $300 dollar safety deposit at check-in (probably my own fault as my stay here was booked at immense short-notice). However, the gentleman on reception and the manager helped resolve this problem in a respectful and calm manner. What could have been a very stressful situation was handled in a very positive and professional way, I instantly felt at ease. There is a great variety of restaurants and bars which offer a great choice of food and drinks. The pool area was lovely and clean and the gym also looked great (although I was unable to use it this time). The bed was incredibly comfortable, with a great choice of channels on the TV and the bathroom facilities were also very useful (iron, ironing board, hairdryer, large well-lit mirrors, shower etc). Overall, an amazing experience. If I am ever back in the USA and in NY state, I will definitely be staying here again.Guest review bySaffronUnited Kingdom

Sullivan County is a fascinating mix of natural beauty and diverse cultures. Monticello is a good jumping-off spot for experiencing the different parts of the overall county. Nearby counties such as Orange and Ulster also have a lot to offer.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 10.0

We got in late and were extremely tired. t The front desk offered us a 1 pm check out time which I thankfully excepted. The maid opened our door at 10 am. This woke us both, so we showered and were on the road again by 11 am.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 2.0

Everything pre / during and post visit was excellent.
Everything pre / during and post visit was excellent. Debs and Mike superb hosts looking to make our stay the best. The Cabin was perfect for us, a grown up family of 4 looking for some R&R after 5 days in Manhattan. From stopping in Liberty for a first shop to recommendations for restaurants, walks or activities Mike and Debs delivered.Guest review byAlisonUnited Kingdom - 8.0
A classic Catskill resort.
A classic Catskill resort. Probably a great place for a family reunion. Wonderful pool complex. A packed daily activity schedule run by professionals who know how to make things fun. Classic also means not new, but the staff works hard to keep everything clean and in good working order. One of the closest resorts to Bethel Music and Arts Center, they offer a concert package with shuttle bus service to the evening concerts, which could be a lifesaver if you don't like driving unfamiliar country roads in the dark.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Martin is a great host who goes above and beyond expectations. The tiny house was cozy and comfortable. It accommodates tall people although you will probably have to duck in some places. There's a great view from the front porch. The composting toilet will make you a believer if you have doubts about them now. I would like to go back again and most likely will to take class about building tiny houses.Guest review byAlanUnited States - 4.0

Quaint, quiet and desolate; however, beautiful mountain views. It is a good place for relaxation if you are not looking to do much. We ventured to the Crystal Run mall in Middleton which is about 24-30mins(drive). At the Catskills Resort Casino, we ate at Lotus Restaurant; we tried to eat at The Diner, but the initial service was blah to terrible. We really did not enjoy our experience as much as we hoped for. My expensive bracelet went missing. We did not get one drink on the casino floor the entire day and a half we were there, even when the service buttons were pressed. One of the worst casino experiences we have had (and we visit a lot of casinos across the nation), but willing to give it one more try in the future. You are still encouraged to visit and try your own luck as it may be different depending on who you are (wink wink).Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 6.0

If you have more than one child, get ready to sleep on the floor. The beds are smaller than a queen size bed. If you like me, have allergies, bring a mask because it very dusty and there's pollen everywhere.Guest review bySaraiUnited States - 10.0

Roscoe is a very scenic area with a very small downtown area. If you're interested in a big party scene, it's not for you. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, it fits that bill. We really enjoyed Northern Farmhouse Pasta for dinner and loved the Catskills Coffee Lodge for a late afternoon pick me up. It's the perfect place to warm up while getting a gorgeous river view. You should also check out the Spotted Cow Cafe & Grill for breakfast!Guest review bySmithUnited States - 8.0
Broadway is a great area for the main business district.
Broadway is a great area for the main business district. Monticello is a very nice area. The bagel festival was great. There was a Walgreens right close by the Inn where I was able to get a wall charger. The baked bakery is a great place to get breakfast in the morningGuest review bySusanUnited States
