1. The hotel is near the city centre. 2. The hotel staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. They even packed some food for us when we checked out since we have kids which was very thoughtful.. 3. They helped us with ticket bookings and gave discounts aswell for us.. we actually got the tickets fir lesser price when we checked outside.. 4. The hotel is very neat and the breakfast also had many options to choose from which kept us full during the day.. 5. For us family of 4, the room seemed a little small for our luggage and us, other than that everything was exceptionally here.. 6. We really enjoyed and are satisfied with our stay in My Boutique Hotel.

The location was excellent, and the staff were incredibly supportive. Despite arriving at 5 AM, they kindly allowed us to rest in the lobby. The receptionist stood out with her exceptional service—she helped us book tours and a taxi to the station, making our stay much smoother. Her quick responses, spontaneity, and constant warm smile added a feel-good touch to our experience. The breakfast was also good.

The room - clean and spacious. The view from our room is really breathtaking we can see the Sapa Centre in the clouds ^^ Staff - really nice and always ready for any assistance.     Really enjoyed the cleanliness and comfiness of the room, that offered great bathroom facilities. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Really enjoyed the spa downstairs in the hotel, and was given a relaxing massage by the qualified staff. The breakfast, dinner and room service delivered was exceptional both in terms of quality and tastiness. The pool was also a nice addition that allowed for a relaxing time.

    The view is totally out of the world. Clear view of the terraces right from the bed. Host is very friendly and helpful with organising guided tours. There are 4 resident dogs and 1 kitty and they are all friendly and fun to play with. Delicious organic food from the restaurant. We tried the herbal bath, which was something we didn't know we needed until we had it - strongly recommend to try!

    I like the location. The staff were very helpful, polite and Friendly. I would like to give special compliment to this male staff who check us in. We miss our coach back to Hanoi. He went the extra mile contacting the agent and rebook our transport. We were panic. This male staff came forward to help us. Excellent service. Thank you will come to the same hotel again.

    We stayed here for 2 nights. Enjoyable experience. Nice room with a good view balcony. The balcony door is soundproof so no problem with noise. The staffs are so kind, friendly and helpful. Easy to walk around the hotel area since its the heart of Sapa. We both women walk at night safely. Will come back here if we go to SaPa again.

    Lao Cai is a frontier town and as such, has a quite quirky feel to it. There is not a whole lot to do per se, apart from visiting a couple of pagodas. I do like the vibe there and there is some really good Vietnamese food available.

    Very difficult to find your way there, all homestay/hotel...

    Very difficult to find your way there, all homestay/hotel owners refuse to provide information and collaborate only with specific companies. English guides limited but a guide named Thao made our stay a nightmare. She was trying to push lunch and other side services, once she realized we didn’t want that, she stopped any guiding and intentionally destroyed half of one day and the whole second day by acting simply as a side person on the trip, not providing absolutely anything. Totally unprofessional and even verbally rude and sarcastic. Avoid at all costs!

    Mountainous area famous for plum.

    Mountainous area famous for plum. It's called the white valley because during the spring the whole area is covered by plum flowers. So it's best to visit in early January. Otherwise, summer is a good time for plum picking. I had an enjoyable experience picking plum myself and brought lots of them home. I was lucky to visit during the weekends when they had annual horse racing competition. Really memorable. They also have weekly Hmong flea market on Sunday, you can eat local food and see ethnic people trading. Riding motorbike and looking at the mountain was fairly enough for me. You definitely should eat at Sa Mu restaurant. The food was so good that we went there twice.

    We allowed 4 days to explore Sapa, but sadly arrived at the start of a typhoon. Flooding rain and heavy cloud persisted during our stay and we didn’t get to explore the area at all. The weather began to clear as we were leaving and we got glimpses of the stunning region. We have learnt that the weather is very ‘hit or miss’ in Sapa, despite recommendations that Autumn as a good time to visit. If possible, it might be better to hover in Hanoi and visit Sapa when the forecast is promising as it’s a long way to travel to not experience all it has to offer. While flexible travel plans are a luxury, it seems the way to go in Sapa. The same goes for visiting Mt Fansipan on the gondola. Many prepaid, online tickets lock you in to the date you choose in advance. There truly in no way of telling what visibility will be like until the actual day. We are grateful that we hadn’t pre-booked tickets to this attraction as the weather conditions were atrocious during our stay in Sapa. We will definitely return to Sapa one day as it is worth the journey there.

    I only stayed Saturday night for the Sunday market but wish I’d stayed Friday night too to see the buffalo market on Saturday morning. Get up early (~6am) and go to the market while it’s bustling with locals rather than waiting until the tourist buses arrive (from ~9am). Quan Binh Phuong does good chicken pho for 30,000 VND
