Great stay, staff were very lovely and helpful, facilities were great. We ate in the restaurant also which was good. Pool was a great temperature and a good view from the top. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Ha Long Bay.

The owners of the hotel are a beautiful family, who were very responsive and helpful. We have purchased a cruise through the hotel (Apollo one) and were very happy with the choice. The location of the hotel is amazing, very close to Ha Long cruises and just 15 minutes away from the main city. Thanks a lot for the unforgettable experience!

A fabulous family run hotel. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The beds were large and comfortable. The customer service was exceptional. The breakfasts were great. The owner was wonderful. She even made special vegetarian broth for our pho. We loved this property and strongly recommend it.

The hotel has an elevator, making it easy for my son to move around in his wheelchair. I’m quite particular about this, and the hotel staff were very supportive. Our room was on the fourth floor, featuring two spacious and comfortable beds. The food also suited our taste perfectly.

    The kindness of Minh Hue is off the charts. It is one of the best hosts we have had the pleasure to meet. She answered all our questions, helped us book bus tickets, gave us recommendations, picked us up and dropped us off in the port, bought us food, the list goes on. We really appreciated it. The place is very cute, super close to the beach where you can watch sunsets and a quick drive to the center, for us it was perfect. The room is very modern and the bathroom is spacious and you even have access to netflix. We can’t recommend it enough.

    Yen Tu is a mountain area with a highest peak of over 1000 meters. Hiking to Yen Tu Mountain is a fantastic and spiritual experience. You will see a lot of old temples of more than 700 years, which gives you a feeling back in ancient time.

    Co To Island is a very peaceful place. We were perhaps the only tourists from Europe there. Otherwise only local. On the other hand, there is nothing much to do there, we went there to relax for a while and the place was perfect for that. Empty beaches, warm sea, nice people. The problem was with the trash on the beach. They are still trying to clean it up, but they say the sea from China is still washing up there. Garbage is a problem in Vietnam as a whole.

    Very tranquil ,beautiful.views , enjoyed the swim and canoeing which were part of the trip, food was good . Be prepared for all the rub bish floating which was a shame and the hawkers in the little boats trying to sell.you stuff, we had a cabin with a balcony which was nice but as we were right next to the water they could harass you . The drinks on the boat were really expensive . If you want to have a glass of wine etc in your room just bring your own there is a fridge

    The downside is the transportation to + forth.

    The downside is the transportation to + forth. We bought tickets on a shuttle van from Hanoi. There must be better options but the resort doesn't offer transportation services. So, you either hire a private car at $100 USD one way or pay $12 USD one way for a seat on a shuttle van. These vans will pick people up on their way as well as cargo so priority is whoever or whatever comes first. It took 3.5 Hours from Hanoi + 4 hours on thew way back. Drivers are OK but they can be extremely aggressive on the road to meet their timeframe.

    We planned to stay in Halong for 1 day, on our way to Cat Ba...

    We planned to stay in Halong for 1 day, on our way to Cat Ba island and planned to stay another day on our way back to Hanoi. Due to rough seas after typhoon Kajiki, we stayed 2 days in Halong. The town is very quiet, many businesses and hotels are closed and it shows what happens to a once busy and thriving place, when the tourists no longer come in their previous numbers. Unfortunately, we will stay the extra day now in Hanoi on our way back.

    The service was excellent, comfort of the room, bed particularly, balcony with the view to the pool and green. The surrounding nature is fabulous if you like nature. Just exploring and walk around the compound and village is nice thing to do. There were horses, would be nice if they are more taken care for, and activity of horse riding around the nature with guide would be a plus.
