BrazilOur stay was AMAZING! 3 days of exceptional experience in the middle of Pilanesberg reserve. 4 safaris with 4 different guides, all them really nice and attentive. The rooms are confortable, shower is delicious. The hotel is really KIDS FRIENDLY, with mini golf, tennis, pools, kids parks, chest, etc. Food was surprisingly good! It was my husband's birthday and they were nice to bring him a happy birthday cake. Elephants drank water in front of the restaurant. Amazing stay!

Wish we could have stayed longer! Food galore, we honestly couldn't eat more during day two, we really enjoyed all the options during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our gamedrives were unbelievable and at some stage we were joking that we see leopards more often than impala! Helen, our guide, was really informative, even learned our language on the way and cracking a few jokes, all made for good conversation!

NetherlandsThis place took my breath away, the rooms are huge, and there is a lot of space to sit and chat. The braai area is well thought out, and there is a massive kitchen to prepare food for many people.
But the absolute best part of these villas, is the view. You get to sit at the pool looking over the bushveld, with all kinds of animals coming to a watering hole. We saw Impala and an elephant in the evening.
Game drives are provided into the reserve or you can get a permit at reception for your own vehicle if you can brave the roads. The park has a lot of wildlife, there are plenty of animals to see.

The information about the lodge was too modest. The food experience we had was outstanding! Totally unexpected from the information given. It wasn’t just a breakfast or a dinner, but a gourmet adventure of international standard!. Credit to the chef Elvis and his support team.
The camp is extremely clean and there’s a lot of attention to detail and service. The location of the lodge by a water hole, brings game viewing right to your balcony. What more can a guest ask for?

The chefkok was amazing 🤩
The guide was so helpful and informative about the animals and we saw the BIG 5!! He did al the best to see with us as most as possible.
The host was kind and will do anything to make it comfortable for us. My wife was pregnant and they did everything to make it comfortable for us!!

We stayed at The Kingdom resort. its a very well run operation with great facilities for kids and adults and is very close to the Pilanesberg Game reserve.
It is much more cost effective than staying in the park which is exhorbitantly expensive

Pilansberg is a 3 hour from Johannesburg.
Pilansberg is a 3 hour from Johannesburg. It is easily accessible however the roads to the Pilansberg are not in great shape. It would be best to take a shuttle than to drive yourself. The park is fantastic with all the animals. We saw many lion, a leopard, many elephants, many rhino and lots more.
I highly recommend.

Sunvillage mall is 20 mins away and Moruleng Mall was about 30-40 mins drive. If you are looking for ATM's and a shopping center Sun village is the closest and you'll find any food items, you need at Spar and fast-food restaurants like Galito's, Macdonalds and KFC.

The location is within driving distance from Sun City. The room was large enough and suitably furnished. We had quite a variety to choose from for breakfast. The staff was quite friendly and yet respected our privacy.

Spec of the property was great but couldn't use the oven and hob at the same time, could only use one or the other. Our stay was spoiled by loud music (from a local commercial disco) until at least 3 in the morning on our first night & way after 22 on our second night. Wouldn't stay here again purely due to these points.

The overall experience was amazing and Suncity is captivating with its African beauty.
The only downside is that the general quality of food at the various hotel pools have dropped post covid.
All in all definitely a world class resort.

Pilansberg Game reserve is falling apart, literally.
Pilansberg Game reserve is falling apart, literally. This will be our last trip and we have been going for 15+jears. The road to the reserve is horrific but worse is the roads in the reserve itself. The "tarred" sections or what's left of it is one pothole after another, not pleasant to drive at all, even at the 40km speed limit in the reserve. Hides are becoming dangerous, falling apart and the toilet facilities at these hides are TERRIBLE! It is sad to see the facilities in the reserve keep declining.

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Close to Manyane gate to enter Pilansberg. Felt safe as the property was patrolled during the night. Comfortable bed. Just overall a very affordable and great resort on our doorstep.

Please also provide filtered coffee for breakfast, not just Ricofy.
Swimming Pool needs maintenance.
Water pressure is too low perhaps this is the municipality issue not theirs.
Electricity outages: please consider backup.
Small parking space and the eating area also is small.
Otherwise it is a nice place to stay with beautiful mountain view.
