I was so happy here. My sports team was staying directly across the road, and had no facilities (cooking, washing, or space) I could cook for all of us, I could do all of our washing and drying in my room and the team of 18 came over each night for team talk and there was plenty of room. I explained the situation to the staff and they were happy to accommodate and even offered the use of the BBQ facilities around the pool area or the balcony area on the next floor down.

Mantra Amphora Resort is located directly opposite the palm-fringed beach of Palm Cove. All rooms have balconies and there is a lagoon-style swimming pool for guests.

Second time staying there this year, so far. Great getaway from the New Zealand winter to get a taste of summer. The resort is top-notch, with the swimming pools being a highlight. Beach just outside the main entrance. A must do is to wake up before sunrise and take a beach walk to the pier with the waves at your feet. Superb breakfast includes all you can eat, fully cooked & continental. You can order lunch from the pool bar, but I waited until dinner. There are plenty of dine in and takeaway restaurants around, and some 5 star establishments for a special night out.

Set among groves of paperbark trees, The Reef Retreat offers 4-star accommodation just 1 minute's walk from the beach at Palm Cove.

Cozy and comfy Retreat tucked away in its own little Oasis. Great location with a short stroll to the beach and main esplanade. Loved it.

I had a lovely stay. The staff are amazing - they all need raises for running the place so well and doing all the hard work! They truly are the backbone of the operation and should be appreciated as such.

Only a 10 minute drive to the city centre and very close to lots of wildlife areas, hiking trails and attractions. The rooms were comfy and the AC was able to keep up with the heat. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked lovely

The apartment was spacious, clean, very well equipped, had a balcony with a nice view on the pool and greenery and free parking in the basement that was easily accessible with a lift. We were leaving the apartment very early every morning, so unfortunately did not have the opportunity to have the breakfast which started at 8 a.m. but the restaurant looked really nice and wish we had a chance to try it. The location was great for exploting the area, short drive from Cairns airport or port and Palm cove and not so far from Port Douiglas or Daintree rainforest.
