Me and wife have recently stayed at Matidera resorts in Kanatal for 3 days and we found it to be very nice homely and hospitable.They lit bonfire virtually everyday for guests and create party kind atmosphere with amazing snacks and tasty food. Staffs are very courteous especially Shubham. He is the best and always keeps smile on his face. Resort Manager Mukesh is also very supportive and not to forget the generosity of property owner Vijay who is very sweet and polite. He especially arranged cake from his side during our anniversary celebrations making our stay quite memorable. It's a must visit destination at least once.

The Hermitage is a beautiful place on top of a mountain ridge from which you can see the snow capped mountains with clear weather. The staff is very friendly, food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed. I can highly recommend this place.

Amazing stay! We loved the poperty! The views were amazing from the property. The staff is very helpful and the food was delicious. Do visit Surkanda Devi temple which is just 5kms from the property! A must visit property!

Location and the views were amazing. Food was very tasty and healthy. The staff (everyone from gatekeeper to reception to room service) was extremely cordial and helpful. Value for money since we got a good deal from Booking.com. Highly recommended for those who love resort experience but do not want to shell out too much money.

Excellent choice for a comfortable stay in Mussoorie. The rooms are very spacious and the service was commendable. The close proximity to Mall road is an added advantage.     The location is heaven, especially in Monsoon. Although, one needs to off-road vehicle for about 800 metres to get to the resort which is a bit risky in monsoons. Overall stay and location and the resort itself is very good.

    The resort is stunningly luxurious and beautiful. Feels like 5 star. The ambience is very serene green and peaceful in the mixed of a pine forest. Food and service you were very good. The most memorable part of the trip was morning hikes to the nearby villages and the forests, with their night watchman along with their house dog. We learnt a lot about the village life, the plants, the trees, the orchards.
