Resorts in Raa Atoll

- The staff was one of the friendliest staff I’ve ever met! - Food was 10 out of 10 (and I’m a picky eater) - Delicious cocktails made with special requests - Watervilla is mindblowing - Sealife is breathtaking - Mickey did an amazing fire show - Lots of activities : movie night, bingo night, dance classes, snorkeling, turtle expedition etc.

We had opportunity to taste 3 different Villas: Garden Villa, Horizon Villa & Beach Pool Villa. The first one was just ok and the others were excellent, especially Beach Pool Villa. The Horizon is the most modern, although not recommended during stormy weather. We have enjoyed a lot the food and service at Rayivilla, Aqua and Amigos Restaurants. But the most beautiful is the reef - thousands of fishes. We could see Mantas, sharks and turtle. Special thanks to Tamanna & Rishab.

The water villa was amazing, fully equipped with everything you could need, with great views and clear water to see all the marine life.

Our dedicated host was Haroon, and he was fantastic, very kind and so helpful. He even took us on a short tour around the island and introduced us to different aspects of the country regarding nature, environment, wildlife, etc. Don't hesitate to ask for him: he will make your stay perfect! The hotel was exceptional. The dolphin room was just like in a dream with direct access to the sea. The italian restaurant was delicious, and the H2O Restaurant an outstanding experience.

We had booked an all inclusive package which was completely amazing and worth it! I arrived on my birthday at Emerald faarufushi and had received a cake at my over water Villa along with a beautiful message on the bed with flowers! The Superior over water villa was breathtaking. My daughter had celebrated her birthday there as well and she enjoyed it. They gave her a cake and a lovely table setting at dinner.The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed it all but our favourite was the Tepanyaki. The restaurant Aqua were my daughters favourite as it was a buffet. The food service there was awesome and the chefs were really friendly along with Natcha (my daughters favourite) and the crew. At Aqua the manager(cannot remember his name)had planed us a seafood platter at a dinner on the beach which was lovely and we really enjoyed the food. All the staff absolutely all the staff are very friendly and helpful even the chefs are friendly my younger daughter made friends with some of them. Nan one of the waiters always smiling and happy also Putri( sorry if I got the names wrong). The Emerald Spa was fantastic we went with the kids for two massages. The spa team was really fantastic.There was a wonderful main pool we could relax, swim and have some drinks. The island is lovely and intimate.My elder daughter had went snorkeling with my husband and they enjoyed it, it is beautiful. We also went fishing and the fishermen crew were really helpful and supporting us during our fishing. Line fishing was a new experience for my family and we had done traditional Maldivian fishing aswell! Luckily we had caught 3 fish and we were really excited! This was a highlight of our trip.I would really recommend this resort to any family going to the Maldives it was really a delightful experience. Mr Rao really looked after us and checked up on us regularly and really did go out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. Nana our villa host was amazing and made sure we had amazing stay

My husband and I visited Emerald Maldives for 4D/5N, stayed at the water villa and the experience was impeccable.Right from the airport pick-up to seaplane transfer to welcome and check-in at the resort ,everything was taken care of .The staff at Emerald Maldives are thoroughly professional ready to cater to all your needs ,extremely accommodating and helpful. As part of the all-inclusive packages we never had to worry about food and drinks as all 4 restaurants on the island were praise-worthy .The staff here again were on top of their game and to name a few Arun , Amit and Jai Nivas at Aqua Restaurant were always so attentive to our needs, checking with us ,suggesting what to try and making us feel at home.Also the Teppanyaki dinner hosted by chef Teddy is wonderful and definitely not something to miss.
 We also explored the island and its surrounding corals through snorkelling and the Dive Centre were so helpful, making us feel confident to take up the experiences as we were not experienced swimmers. A shout-out to Rizwan our snorkelling coach for being patient and guiding us in all the snorkelling excursions with a smile .
 Last but not the least , a big thank you to our villa host Igga, who was there for us at any time of the day, taking care of our needs, booking lunches/dinners for us , suggesting what to explore and just being the best.
 All in all the entire staff made sure we had a wonderful and memorable stay at the island!!!

The room was kept very clean, being serviced twice a day. The pool belonging to the villa was fantastic and was kept very clean. The service in the restaurant was excellent, with a special mention to Musafir! The dive centre was well organised, as were the dives. The diving at the local reef is not the best though. The beaches around the resort are very nice and kept clean. There is a lot to do for children and they are very welcome everywhere in the resort.

Snorkelling is the best we have experienced. The three a la carte restaurants are fantastic. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Great island.

I didn't plan to post all my photos and write this much, but... I cannot skip it. I have visited many countries, many top hotels, and resorts, but nothing compares to Joali Being. From the moment you arrive at the airport, until the last step, everything is organized as a perfect 10/10. Where to begin? The resort is new and probably the most modern in the Maldives. I thought UAE had the best hospitality, but no place has even come close to the professionalism of the staff here. The food is top-notch. I ate the best steak, breakfast, and much more. I would write what I recommend, but probably it's worth trying anything. Even though you have to pay for most of the activities, including for simply using the tennis field, I strongly recommend doing the organised activities, because the experience is unique and incomparable. I am very sorry that I skipped many of them, until I had the first ones and realized how they do things. The houses are impeccable, very inspirational in terms of architecture and design. I could write more, but... will leave just this: if you have a chance to try this resort, even for just 4-5 days, try it and it will inspire you for life about how things should be done.
