I like the environment, nice garden, cozy and spacious room. The owners are also nice, attentive, service-minded.

It's paradise. Exceptionally well manicured, landscaped, quiet, set amongst rice fields, it's so well designed and beautifully arranged. There are personal touches everywhere. The staff are exceptionally polite, helpful and are always smiling. The meals were impeccable. I never got tired of what was offered. Coffee, lattes, and espresso are offered along with so many other varieties. Just ask! I had a chance to speak with the owner, Phoo and she literally made this place out of nothing. It took years of excavating, laying foundations, irrigating and planning. She is a rare delight of a human being who shines so brightly that all can't help but be mesmerized by her. I wish I had more time to speak with her and get to know her. The guests that this resort attracts are on the quiet side. There is beer but no hard liquor. This is not a party resort. It's a place of relaxation, reflection, healing and a chance to find oneself. If you wanted company, it's easy enough to find in the common area. The salt water pool! AC worked well, as did everything in the washroom. The room was functional and very well designed. The view on the balcony is just amazing. The birds, the sounds of nature. The dogs that live on the property and the cats are such a delight. You can see the love that was put into this place as well as how it is permeated everywhere within it. The locals are exceptionally friendly and there are plenty to do in the area if one so desires it. Scooters and transportation are easily arranged by Phoo Whether you are a local from Chiang Mai or as I was, coming all the way from Canada and needed a safe place to land and gather my thoughts, this is it. I miss the place, I miss the dogs, the cats, I miss Phoo and her wonderful staff. If you need rest, inspiration, healing and to believe in magic again, this is the place to be.

This place is AMAZING. We were charmed by the climate and style of this hotel. Room was beatiful and clean. Hot water on stone shower, TV, very good free wi-fi, stylish decor. Lovely swimming pool. Quiet place. Staff was very kind and helpful, they even served us a breakfast earlier upon our request so we could eat and go for a reserved trip without missing our meal. Very kind people. It felt like home, there is no compare to any other hotels. Highly recommended. If I will visit Thailand again, I'll come back there for sure.

The breakfast is awesome, we had breakfast near the pool which is nice. Very impressed with this boutique hotel. The hotel owner is a very friendly cheerful lady and the young lady reception staff is very sweet and helpful. We even did try the Thai message which is a new experience for us.

This hotel made our 5 day trip to chiang mai perfect! It is a fully vegan hotel with amazingly delicious thai food! The rooms are also super clean and have everything that is required to wind down after a day of exploring the cities! The staff of Away Chiang Mai are amazing and make you feel right at home! I want to also thank Alec who works at the front reception for being so nice and kind and always making sure to greet you and help whenever he can! If I ever visit chiang mai again, I’ll definitely stay at Away!

Everything! This hotel is just perfect from check in to check out! Everybody was so kind and friendly, an experience of luxury and peace that everybody should enjoy! The breakfast was incredible!! I am in love with this hotel and promise never had such an amazing experience!! We will come back for sure!

Amazing!! Resort was exceptional, I cannot fault anything. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Great location, walking distance to town. Definitely would visit again.
