A very old historic building of the 14thC. Neat and spacious common areas, good sized bedrooms; down feather amenities; logo slippers, gowns, and ten out of ten heating; very clean spa. Linen change as you wished and towels daily. Breakfast: it was above and beyond with fresh produce and a full basket of local dishes, Austrian hams and cheeses, scrambled eggs, fluffy viennese croissants, vegan & vegetarian diets, breads, desserts etc and a large assortment of juices, teas & coffees. Lunch and dinner: it was a pleasant experience too. The service of the staff: was excellent with very polite staff available to assist you in any in-house enquiries to suggestions for outdoor experiences. Location: location was value for money! Hotel in a small village, next to a large market center, a 14min drive to Salzburg Old Town and a 45min drive to the closest ski resort. We would definitely return to this gasthouse.

Highly recommend! Top service, amenities, well thought design interior! A feeling of house/villa but with everything that you need and in top quality! Super clean everywhere! Great location- in the good centre of Salzburg , not in the touristic part, but near (8 min walk) Don’t miss the breakfast! Amazing and fresh choices! Great atmosphere! Also the best option if you have a car! Easy access and car park behind in an open space area next to the garden!

The apartment was very clean and cozy, and once you enter your room there is a very nice smell ( I loved this about the apartment because most places don’t care about such details) There is free parking right there behind the building . I recommend it for families and couples. Everything you need is provided.

    Fantastic location, quiet place. Very close to the lakes and mountains that were our main target during the prolonged weekend. Great to relax and take a rest after a whole day hiking / climbing. Room was spacious, super clean with a beautiful view. Rich breakfast included in the price. Hotel restaurant exceed our expectations offering delicious, perfectly served meals. The staff was always helpful and made us feel simply welcomed.

    Lovely, traditional hotel, close to Salzburg. Even though is just off the highway, you truly feel like you stepped into an Andersen fairytale. The staff is friendly, the food is great. Highly recommended.

    The staff were very welcoming and the facilities were excellent. Parking was very convenient with lots of space right outside the hotel. The bedroom was a family room and had lots of space, the bathroom was modern and everything was immaculate. The view from the balcony was lovely and the breakfast was excellent!
