I was looking for a more budget-friendly place to stay at than the recommended hotel for my conference held at La Citadelle. This was among the closest and all was as advertised. Marjorie & Cloé made my experience live up to the positive reviews and Lonely Planet recommendation.

Great location, super cute ambience. The common areas are delightful. There are lovely fireplaces in the common areas and nice places to read, drink tea and relax, which we really appreciated after long cold days of exploring the city.

The location of Hotel Manoir Vieux Quebec is perfect if you want to be in Vieux-Quebec and near the Terrasse Duferrin as well as nice restaurants and eateries. The downstairs jacuzzi was great for relaxation. The elevator is the quietest elevator I have ever been on. The rooftop terrace is great for relaxing, getting a panoramic view of the city and taking pictures.

I liked that the room had 2 chairs - one for each of us, the jacuzzi was very relaxing, the bathroom was nice, the space of the room was large enough and housekeeping provided us with fresh towels and even made our bed, which wasn't necessary but thoughtful.
