The room was extremely spacious, well decorated and cozy. The bedroom was comfortable. It was completely silent. The place and garden around is really beautiful and close to the center. Also the breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel is situated just outside of the town, and is within 8 kilometres from the A6, so ideal for visiting the region. The hotel is very well appointed, with large rooms, and comfortable beds. The bathroom has a walk in shower. There is a kettle, tea and coffee, and a large TV. There is also a restaurant, reasonably priced, although we did not use it. The swimming pool looked very inviting, but we did not have the time to use it. The staff were very helpful and pleasant

Hôtel de la Côte d'Or is a former royal coaching inn. WiFi is available free of charge for all guests, and some rooms offer a view of the garden.

The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi bath was a bonus after a long drive. Excellent service and communication.

Hôtel des Cymaises is set in Semur-en-Auxois, 31 km from Avallon. The hotel has a sun terrace and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar.

It is a beautiful very old building transferred into a hotel, with a very nice renovation. We liked the family style, but very professional service and very welcoming attitude. Room was great, breakfast was good. And location was right in the old center of the village

Nestled in the hills of Auxois, Le Verger sous les Vignes is a charming country-style establishment made up of winemaker's houses grouped around an old orchard.

We had a wonderful room with a small garden! The communal areas were really comfortable, with loads of books. The dinner was the best that we had in France for our whole holiday, and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was also excellent and included in the cost of the room. Everything was very good value and Pierre was incredibly helpful and friendly. He was very approachable and we enjoyed chatting to him. The surroundings and the views are stunning. Next time we will stay for a few days, hopefully very soon.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Saint-Rémy, Entre Bourgogne et Morvan is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the quiet street.
