    Imposing building in a beautiful setting, the hotel has a luxurious feel and a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed a very good dinner with great choices and quality ingredients. Breakfast was the same, served in a lovely sunny room overlooking the River Tweed.

    Breakfast was very good, best scrambled eggs ever, dinner was first class, beautifully cooked and hot. The staff were all friendly and polite. The whole place was really clean. A lovely beer garden to sit and relax on a sunny day. . . and right in the middle of Melrose with it's own parking. What more could you ask for

    Facilities were great with an excellent location. I had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The bedroom was large, clean and had a lovely view of the river. The food was excellent and while the choice was slightly limited I was surprised at the outstanding quality and presentation. The bar had a good selection of malt whisky. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay.
