Beautiful and comfortable establishment, and I was grateful there was air conditioning in the room with how hot it was outside. Close to shops, Totnes Castle, and lovely trails on the riverside. Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant.

We liked absolutely everything about our stay. The location is central to everything (with the beachfront, pier, town centre, and train centre all in walking distance), our room was immaculately clean and was decorated beautifully. As for our hosts - outstanding! The friendliest couple you’ll ever meet.

The old fashioned building but with nice contemporary decor in the rooms. Breakfast was very nice and the staff are very attentive with nothing being too much trouble. i arrived very late for my stay ( almost midnight) and the staff were very helpful providing me with arrangements for me to access the hotel and my room after the staff has finished for the night.

We had a wonderful stay at The Beaches. Our room was very nice and comfortable. You had everything you needed and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely. Ged and Claire were wonderful hosts and looked after us so well.

St Edmonds Guest House was perfectly placed within walking distance to the beach, shops, cafes, entertainment and trains without being busy and noisy. Our room was comfortable, bright and airy. Breakfast was delicious and our hosts were entertaining and personable. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again.
