There were also many small touches that made it cosy (the extra coffe/tea bar, etc). And of course Adam, the host, was very friendly and always had good recommendations. Bonus: the breakfast you could buy extra even catered to Gluten free diet.

The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, set in a peaceful environment that made for a truly relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start each day. Overall, my experience was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended!

This hotel is housed in a traditional half-timbered building in central Ærøskøbing. It offers free private parking and rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi access. Ærøskøbing Town Hall and the harbour are both 250 metres away. Clean, quiet, good breakfast. Friendly staff. I really appreciated that I was able to check in hours earlier than expected and then rent a bike for touring the area. The receptionist also provided me with maps of the island. The hotel is right in the center of town and convenient walking distance to everything. In addition to a shared bath, there are also sinks in the rooms.
