This 5-star guest house offers a housekeeping service and a shared lounge. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I am happy with everything. There were two heaters in the room. The weather was not good, we turned on one for comfort. There is a wide choice of dishes for breakfast. Fried eggs and omelette from home eggs. Aromatic coffee finishes breakfast with a beautiful view of the garden. The house is surrounded by an incredibly beautiful garden. A light breeze carried the aromas of blooming lilies. The hosts are hospitable. I wish their business prosperity.

With river views, this accommodation features a patio. The bed and breakfast also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Wonderful location in the countryside with a wonderful landlady. Service was perfect and very hospitable, enjoyed the breakfast. Beautiful scenery and a picturesque old church ruin nearby.

Daphne is a delight and she makes you feel right at home and her cooking,( breakfasts) were super ; she is a “Pro” having run this program for over 24 years and cares about its success !

Boasting picturesque views of the Wicklow Mountains, Birchdale House is nestled in the rural setting of Greenan, 5 minutes’ drive from Rathdrum. It offers free parking, free Wi-Fi, a guest lounge with board games and a 42-inch flat-screen TV with Sky channels. Birchdale House was excellent! The location was wonderful, with everything close by, and the house had all the amenities we could possibly need. It was comfortable, welcoming, and the perfect place to relax during our stay

Good location, nice grounds, good access to a footpath and beach. Excellent choices at breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff. Plenty of choices for lunch / dinner. Plenty of storage space in room for clothes. Water fountain on each floor and a bottle in your room so you could collect water to have in your room.
