The soundproofed guest rooms feature a patio with a view. All rooms have a private bathroom including a hairdryer. If there were any flaws, the staffs Nadir, Omar & lady chef N compensated them all. The staffs were gems!! Very helpful, very pleasant and polite. The riad was just like what we imagine, beautiful! location was not too deep into the Medina, easily reachable via Bab Boujloud and the Batha post. Our room was on the top floor, next to the terrace and the rooftop seating. Bathroom with bidet for the toilet is a rare finding!! Dinner we had was fantastic and breakfast were nice and varies everyday, still traditional and adequate portion.

We had a lovely stay at Dar Bensouda, a beautifully refurbished traditional riad that perfectly blends authenticity with comfort. The property is an old house thoughtfully transformed into charming accommodation, preserving its architectural heritage while offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of the medina. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was decent—simple but satisfying. The small pool in the courtyard added a refreshing touch, especially after exploring the busy streets of Fes. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace: quite spacious, with stunning views and a serene ambiance that made it ideal for unwinding. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Dar Bensouda to travelers looking for an authentic Moroccan stay with warm hospitality.

The Riad is stunning with beautiful antique features where ever you look and an amazing sunny rooftop terrace with view. The staff are also a joy - welcoming and helpful...and the food was the best we ate in Fes. Really couldn't fault anything.

The best thing about this Riad is the people. The staff is great. I got sick while I was staying there and one of the staff brought me medicine, a bottle of water and some grapes. The breakfast looked pretty good but I wasn't able to enjoy it being sick. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and the entire place was very clean.

The staff was incredibly helpful and delightful to talk to especially Yassine and Mohammed.

Extras include free toiletries and a hair dryer. Absolutely amazing Riad, located very close to tala kebira and the blue gate, right where you want to be inside Fes medina but close to the gate. Really good value for price paid, good breakfast, quiet and spacious room with powerful A/C. A special mention goes to the staff, in particular to Lahcen, who went above and beyond to make our stay friendlier. He gave us several tips on the area, even booked a local restaurant on the phone on our behalf. Will definitely stay in Riad Sabah whenever we return to Fes.
