You can use the restaurant and beach services from Posada Mexico, right in front, which is convenient. Rubi was great, helpful with her tips and accommodating on our needs. One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido offers a place with a mixture of rustic and Mexican-style decoration only 150 metres from Zicatela Beach. The place is small with only a few rooms but with a lot of charm. This place is perfect for someone looking for a something affordable that is less than a hotel but more than a hostel. It was particularly nice for me as a solo female traveler really not looking for parties but for some time to comfortably relax by the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Short walking distance from the beach and central streets.

Cute ocean facing cabanas, spacious and clean. You can watch the sunrise and sunset while enjoying food at the restaurant. The hammocks are great way to relax and get some breeze. The food was great and staff is very helpful and kind.

Located in Zipolite, 80 metres from Zipolite Beach, LA LOMA LINDA, Bungalows, Yoga and Feldenkrais, STARLINK INTERNET provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. This 2-star hotel offers a tour desk. The hotel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Everything! The space is beyond all expectations - we were completely in love with how beautiful it is and our room was perfect. The outside shower was maybe my favourite bit, especially at night under the moon and stars. The stairs and walkways up to the cafe and yoga shala are quite a lot, but worth it for the views. We enjoyed our routine of yoga and breakfast in the cafe each morning. Breakfast is yum especially the huevos rancheros. Everyone who worked there was the kindest and couldn’t do enough for us - every single detail had been thought of. From the water dispenser in the room to leaving us a towel so we could shower before our transfer. Heaven!

Ideally located in the centre of Oaxaca City, El Callejón Hotel Boutique offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. With a garden, the property also has a terrace, as well as a restaurant. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. The location was great, close to downtown but in a quieter part, also that we travelled as family was great the space as we could spend more time together in our own private place.
