Cardiff State Beach is 5 minutes’ walk away. This a wonderful Hotel; a real gem! I was mesmerized by the special and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. The beds are extremely comfortable - one of the best beds I have had in a Hotel. The staff is exceptional - accommodating, helpful, professional and so friendly! The breakfast is small but good - a tasty fresh juice, coffee and muffins. There is a sundeck at the top of the Hotel with a fantastic view; a great place to hang out and enjoy the sunset. The location is perfect - it is just some steps away from a nice beach and from good seafood restaurants. The Hotel offers towels, beach-chairs and umbrellas for free - an excellent service so that we could enjoy two days at the beach. I highly recommend staying at the Cardiff by the Sea Lodge!

Guests can also enjoy relaxing on the oceanfront sundeck or using the on-site barbecue facilities. Situated right on the beachfront, the location can’t be beat. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage as we arrived early via Uber. Comfy bed and the room was quiet. Great features such as filtered water and espresso machines and an honesty bar too. The outdoor lounge area with music is such a nice touch. The nearby grassy knoll park to the south is gorgeous too.
