Spioenkop Nature Reserve is 10 km from the property, while Bergville is 15 km away. The food was delicious every morning and every night. We were always excited for dessert! Wilson was also a highlight of our trip- he greeted us, guarded our porch, escorted us to breakfast, and took us on a lovely walk where we picked up some neighbouring dogs along the way. The cat that stayed at our cabin was very cuddly and friendly, too.

The lodge features 7 cabins which each have their own splash pool and BBQ facilities. It offers a seating area, terrace and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and an oven. You can enjoy sightings of buck, wildebeest and various bird species from your room. We loved everything here! Especially the big terrace with the private swimming pool and the terrace upstairs with the comfortabele chairs. The cabin is very big with three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge kitchen and living room. The beda are very comfortable and the bathrooms too. We also made use of the spa facilities which were good.

The cottages are fitted with a stove, microwave, fridge, a well equipped kitchen and patios with lovely views. Some of them are situated at the lakeside. Each cottage comes with a rowing boat to venture out on the water. VERY BEAUTIFUL AND STRATEGIC PLACE TO VISIT DRAKENSBERG. AMAZING AREA BY THE LAKE. OWNERS ARE VERY KIND AND EMPHATIC PEOPLE.
