Serene and silent environment, beautiful and comfortable accommodation. The staff was very welcoming, eager to help and clarify everything and provided a very good service. Everything is organized to be convenient and comfortable for guests, so they can relax and enjoy. Traditional breakfast served in the morning was delicious and full of new things to try. I also enjoyed the ryokan's onsen a lot!

Hotel was perfect. Location, facilities, breakfast, value for money, but for me the biggest surprise was that they have natural resources of water in their onsen.

It’s a local hangout. Locals go to the Onsen for their soak but doesn’t get crowded. Super friendly staff and they were really helpful. Even through there’s a language barrier, they tried to help as much as possible (from booking taxis, making changes to the dinner menus and allowing us to make calls to make reservations). Free flow sparkling wine and ice cream helps but it’s really the warmth of the staff.

The hotel was clean and beautiful. We wanted to experience traditional Japanese-style logging. Shinyotei was wonderful and far exceeded our expectations.

The private onsen was amazing, a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains. The buffet breakfast was so delicious. So many options and amazing ocean views with comfortable seating. The staff at check in was very nice and helpful even though we did not speak Japanese. The room was beautiful and comfortable.
