Amazing place to stay. Very authentic hotel for a real Japanese experience. We all loved it (2adults, 2 teens) and could have stayed for much longer. Funny local town with a great ramen bar run by an elderly couple and their daughter and not much else but hiking trails (mind the bears!). Amazing location and well worth visiting, this hotel stay loved up to all our expectations.

Everything about it 🙏 True Japanese style with a nice private indoor onsen which we used several times during our visit. Such friendly staff and the best Japanese/ Italian meal we had in Japan. Nice big family room with separated Japanese “wall” during nighttime

I was very satisfied with the full range of services offered in this cozy facility. The beautifully presented meals, the professional and friendly front desk staff, the well-trained service team, and the spa facilities were all excellent. Lovely onsen hotel! We stayed in their cabins with private onsen which was very cosy but modern and newly built. The staff were friendly and used google translate to help with the language barrier. The dinner was a tasty yakiniku course menu with different appertizers and different cuts of meat. They have a huge selection of sake(lots of rare premium brands) and drinks. They also have a sake room where you can buy bottles to bring home aswell.

    the room is awesome with great view and lovely hot spring bath included. Electronics in the room is quite updated (Panasonic hair dryer and a Bluetooth speaker) staff are also very friendly and helpful. overall a very enjoyable stay

    Everything about the hotel. My first time experiencing Ryokan and it was wonderful. Unlike the review, quite a few staff at the reception area were able to speak English and they are friendly to foreigners. The outdoor onsen was great and with adequate privacy. Room was a bit too warm during winter with the heater turned on. There are timing for free beer and sakes, sochu etc. It's very worth it if you enjoy drinking.
