Everything was top notch, from accommodation to the very friendly and helpful staff. Object has shuttle bus that will take you to JR Kameoka which is great way to get back to Kyoto. Much recommended

This ryokan is situated in beautiful nature. We had a beautiful view of the river from our room and had dinner by the riverside on both nights. Rooms are big, cozy and very relaxing. The whole area is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring it. Food (breakfast and dinner) was amazing, best we had in Japan so far. All the staff was absolutely wonderful. They picked us up at the bus station and dropped us at the train, which made the whole trip much simpler. Everything was perfect and we are glad we included this place as a part of our honeymoon stay!

This Ryokan was beautiful. The location was breathtaking and I highly recommend staying here for a night or two! They offer a shuttle bus from the local JR station to the property which was really helpful, just ensure you let them know beforehand. The staff were lovely and respectful. Dinner was an experience like no other. I had let them know a few days prior we were vegetarians and they were more than happy to accommodate. The roll out futon’s were actually more comfy than expected!

Fantastic hospitality, polite and service minded employees just put the icing on the cake for this stay. The property is meticulously maintained, and our room was gorgeous. The nine course dinner served in our room was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Hotel's location is in the historical neighborhood of Sasayama which makes it special. The room and amenities were exceptional. Everything was as described, the staffs were friendly and helpful, the food was amazing.. Cannot expect more from my stay!
