Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Beautiful ryokan with a private onsen. Perfect location. We had beautiful room with everything we needed and with a beautiful view. The staff was very kind and helpful. I wanted especially thank to the guy that carried our (heavy) suitcases and then called the “car romance” and rescheduled our train. :-) Happy New Year, team !

Japanese cleanliness! Breakfast and dinner buffet really ritch and tasty, some western options as well for people with no preferance to Asian cuisine. Staff polite and helpful. Onsen area was really nice. The shop near the lobby was useful Beautiful footbath area, enjoying an icecream there was a highlight with the view while soaking my feet after breakfast was a highlight

We were also offered an upgrade to an apartment from our room. We were travelling a lot and use the room only to sleep, bath and relax a little bit after long days. So we have no clue about the restaurants. The parking is sufficient and the hotel is well placed to make trips in the surroundings. We felt very well treated.
