Really able to hit a couple of items off with this in. I love that they have English speaking staff. I'm surprised to meet fellow Filipinos working there. It was such an awesome welcome. The rooms were amazing and spacious. I slept like a baby with the futon they prepared for me. Ordered a traditional breakfast which did not disappoint. And the private bath really soothed my tired bones after long walks going around Kyoto. Would definitely stay there again!

I really loved the ajinkan meditation and how the monk was kind and cheerful and pleasant. It was such a nice experience to learn something new and to have such a pleasant person that you can ask about meditation. It was so nice! The dinner was really fantastic and I was most pleasantly surprised how warm the room was because it was cold season.

We only stayed one night but it was worth it. We were looking into a traditional Ryokan experience and that’s what we received. The complete staff was super kind, they welcomed us, received our bags before check in and later when we came up they welcomed us with tea and local sweets. In the night we had our kaiseki dinner (13 courses) it was a lot but definitely an experience to remember. Not good tho for sensitive paladars, be prepared to eat everything. The girl who served as our host was super nice and explained us everything. The private bath was also a highlight. We loved every second.
