Amazing view from the hotel and staff we very nice and helpful. Masks at the hotel were delicious and everything was clean and organized. The hotel also provided transportation to and from the train station. Location was convenient and right at a bus stop.

The staff were so warm & welcoming. We stayed in the Executive Suite with open air bath & it was stunning, also with a private garden. We had the Kaiseki meal in a private dining room & it was simply amazing, so much preparation, care & attention, truly beautiful presentation of food & very tasty. Although Mount Fuji was in cloud, it did not spoil our experience, it was worth it for our visit to Fuji Onsenji Yumedono alone.

The ryokan-hotel has an incredibile position for looking at the Mount Fuji-san and is really near to the Kawaguchi-Lake and the idyllic lake-park. The staff was more than kind even for the high Japanese standards. The traditional room and the onsen were both gorgeous. The traditional breakfast was incredible. We can only recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to stay in this area.

Most excellent service I've ever received. The host was extremely kind and talented at quickly anticipating our needs and offering help. I can't emphasize just how amazing the service was. The shuttle to and from the bus station was so convenient. Great location and the view we had of Mt Fuji from our room was gorgeous! The traditional room was clean and beautiful. Wearing yukata and going to the onsen was an amazing experience as well. Do yourself a favor and add on the breakfast when you arrive! It was so delicious.

There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel with a direct connection from Fujikawaguchiko. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the area. The hotel may look unassuming from the outside, but inside it’s an old, incredibly charming, and immaculately clean place. The hotel owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. We were able to reserve the private onsen right away. The rooms are enormous, designed in a traditional style, and truly spacious, with seating areas that offer direct views of the lake and, of course, Mount Fuji. It’s absolutely breathtaking. The onsen is also a dream, offering a direct view of Mount Fuji. The kaiseki dinner was the most beautiful and freshest we’ve ever had. All in all, during our 7-week trip through Japan, we didn’t stay at a more beautiful hotel!
