Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us in every aspect - picking us up and dropping us off at the train station, calling a taxi for us, etc. Also love that they have different pillow materials and varying degrees of softness/firmness for you to choose from (first come first serve), ensuring a good nights sleep.

Room overlooking the nice mountain and Yuzawa. The free boots for guess to use is really a godsend to venture in snow during winter

This was a wonderful hotel with a great onsen and rotenburo/outdoor bath, excellent staff, kids room my 3 year old loved, and lounge tea, coffee, sake service. Would absolutely stay here again. Centrally located near the station in town.

The ryokan features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The meals were fantastic and staff very accommodating. We do not speak Japanese and the staff was kind and helpful, sometimes using Google translate to help communicate. Everything was excellent.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. breakfast was excellent, it didn't seem much at first but once you started, the flavor of the different vegetables accompanied by the selected rice was incredible. Staff are very professional and friendly in arranging everything to make the stay comfortable. We had a very relaxed and contented stay. Both dinner and breakfast were amazingly delicate and delicious. We had our meal by the hearth and feel so warm and wonderful. This inn offers a very exclusive experience staying in the countryside.
