A balcony with garden views is offered in each unit. At the ryokan, units have bed linen and towels. Our stay was wonderful - we wished we could’ve stayed more than one night! The room was even better than the listing pictures suggested, the staff was so kind and helpful, and we felt very well taken care of. We had a slight issue figuring out how to keep our onsen hot and it was fixed right away. I completely recommend staying here. Every room has its own private bath, and all the rooms are separate buildings. It’s so private and relaxing. We accessed the property with a car and it was incredibly easy. We didn’t opt for the kaiseki dinner, but breakfast was fantastic!

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Crasus Dome Oita and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. Featuring a shared lounge, the 2-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a shared bathroom. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We had a big room with toilet on the second floor. Lots of space. It was quiet and clean. The owner is very friendly and helped us make reservations to various Onsens. We also could use the private in-house Onsen. It’s all very authentic and we loved our stay. The guesthouse is in the middle of Kannawa Onsen so you can do 5 of the 7 hells on foot. The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a microwave and all cooking essentials. The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking ryokan has a hot spring bath. Cat in the accoms is friendly and approachable but somewhat sassy. Owner is friendly and helpful with documents on whats around. Room is very cozy. Accoms has solo onsen bath but need to wait your turn as only can accomodate one guest at a time.

The staff members were very gracious, the meals were amazing, and the accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. We loved our private onsen. We can't rave enough about Ryokan Fukinoya, definitely a highlight of our trip!

We loved everything about this ryokan! The room, the onsen, the food, and the service were all excellent. We felt as if we were staying in a 5-star hotel with very attentive and considerate hospitality. The generous and delicious kaiseki dinners and the abundant teishoku breakfasts were a highlight. This is truly a place where you can eat well and completely relax.
